Install this aluminum mesh headache rack on your Ford F-150 and you'll gain cab protection and added tie-down points for your cargo. The heavy-duty, 2-3/4 inch mesh is made of aluminum tubing that helps the rack absorb impacts.
A cutout at the top prevents the rack from blocking your third brake light.
Two adjustable tie-down brackets slide along the top or sides of your rack and provide tie-down points for securing your freight. They can also serve as load stops for your cargo. When you want to move a tie-down bracket, just loosen the knob on the anchor, then slide it along the track. Tighten the knob to secure the tie-down in place.
Each side of the rack also has oval cutouts at the bottom, adding extra tie-down points at bed-rail level that make it easier to tame your cargo. The rack installs in your truck bed's stake pockets - no separate mounting kit or drilling is necessary. Add a rear rack (sold separately) to create a full ladder rack system for carrying long loads. Light mounting platforms and additional tie-down brackets (sold separately) are also available and install easily into the headache rack's channels.

- I spoke with my contact at DeeZee and he informed me that the overall height of this is 23-5/8 inches. What you can do is measure from the top of your bed rails on your 2011 Ford F250 Super Duty to the roof of the cab and then subtract 23-5/8 inches from that number and you will have the distance that this will extend beyond your cab roof.

- My contact at DeeZee confirmed their cab rack, part # DZ95050, will fit in your 1998 Chevy 1500 pickup. This rack installs above the stake pockets on the top of the bed rails using the supplied hardware.
The installation instructions do indicate that the rack can even be adapted to fit in cases when the stake pockets do not line up exactly with the mounting holes on the rack.
