Most often used on vintage hot rods and race cars, pan coolers are designed to add a little extra cooling power to keep your Ram 2500's transmission operating at its best. Simply replace your existing oil pan with the new aFe one. In addition to providing cooling power, the deeper aFe pan increases fluid capacity, letting you use up to 4 additional quarts of fluid to boost cooling power and extend time between necessary changes. The integrated fins provide greater surface area for superior heat transfer and maximum cooling power. Thermal-conductive aluminum fins line the bottom of the inside of the pan cooler to collect heat from the fluid. That heat is then transferred to the external fins, which allows the heat to dissipate out into the surrounding air.
