Note: The Derale Insta-dapt radiator adapter fits most GMC C/K Series Pickups with 5/16" transmission lines, but not all. In some cases, additional fittings or alteration of the OEM lines or hoses may be required for installation.

- To install the Derale Transmission Cooler, # D12904, on your 2008 Honda Pilot, you would take the long fasteners provided to mount the cooler. The most efficient place to mount the cooler is between the grille and the AC condenser.

- Adding Teflon tape to the fittings in the Derale Transmission Cooler, # D12904, is not necessary, but you can use some as long as it is only on the threads and not on the face of the fitting. You do not want particles getting into the transmission, so you will have to be very careful. Since it is not necessary, I recommend just using the fittings by themselves unless you discover a leak after installation. Then it would be a good idea to add the tape.
