Loading a big motorcycle into a pickup truck can be difficult and dangerous. And big motorcycles can easily surpass the weight capacity of many hitch-mounted motorcycle carriers or the tongue weight rating of your trailer hitch receiver. A motorcycle trailer solves these problems by providing a lower loading height and putting most of the motorcycle's weight on the trailer's axle, taking it off your vehicle's hitch receiver. With the right trailer, you can haul even the heaviest bikes.

This open trailer reduces the stress and hassle of loading and unloading a motorcycle. The combination of low trailer height and 6' long ramp provides a gentle slope, so you have good control over loading and unloading your motorcycle. And the ramp attaches to the trailer frame with included U-bolts for easy, out-of-the-way storage.

Once your motorcycle is loaded onto the trailer, its tires ride in an 8" wide channel that helps to keep it stable. Six tie-down points let you securely strap down your bike. And to deter thieves, you can lock your motorcycle to the trailer with cable locks (sold separately). With all the features on this trailer, you won't have to worry about whether or not you'll still have your bike when you get to your destination.

This trailer is built for both strength and good looks. The square and rectangular tube stock is stronger than the flat stock or angle iron commonly used on other trailers. The chassis is finished with a black powder coat to fight rust, and the deck is constructed of aluminum with a polished finish and a built-in tread plate pattern for sure footing. Assembles with basic hand tools (a drill with a 5/16" nut driver is recommended). This trailer will do your tricked-out bike proud.

The tongue can be removed to minimize the amount of storage space needed when you're not using the trailer. An optional rolling storage stand (sold separately) lets you stow the trailer vertically so that it will take up even less floor space in storage.

• I have had the chance to look through the packaging and while the Magneta Low-Profile Trailer, # UMCT1XHD-AM31985, is a complete trailer, it also requires assembly as you have indicated. The main body of the trailer comes in parts that easily bolt together with hand tools. You will also need to bolt on the fenders, leaf springs, axle, the coupler to the tongue, and install the lights. The tires and wheels are already mounted.
