Kits feature the 440 combination rear light with special electrical connections that eliminate external wiring splices. Wiring harnesses simply plug into the back of the lights. The kit provides all legal lighting and reflective equipment for any trailer less than 80" wide. Front side marker lights have built-in reflectors and mount with a single stud. The trailer light kit includes a four wire split harness, frame clips, flexible plastic license bracket, clear lens on one light for license plate illumination, and wire nuts. Wire harness is 25 foot.

Today, we're going to review Part Number 432800. These are the Peterson Trailer Tail Light Kits with the 25-foot Wiring Harness and Mounting Hardware. This kit will include the two-large red stop, turn and brake or stop turn and tail lights with the side markers. This one is the driver side or the left-side. As you can see it does have the license plate illuminator on the bottom. This one, it also has a side marker and it is a passenger side.
Now, these are a stud-mounted light kit. In another words, you see the two studs back here. They would have to be, they ground through the studs. Basically when you wire this up, you do have to make sure these will ground into a, or the studs will ground into a good clean metal frame. It does include the license plate bracket which you will attach on the driver side basically.
The two holes go over to the two studs. As you can see, license plate bracket will be on there. Now, it does also come with the clearance lights that can be wired in. Again, they also have one stud, they ground through the stud and then the power wire. It comes with the mounting hardware for the lights.
It comes with a 25-foot wiring harness as you can see here that is used to plug in to wire your trailer with this. Basically, the way you would wire this, this has a separate white wire that would be needed grounded to the trailer. Then it has a yellow and brown, a yellow, a green and brown, and a green. Basically, what you would do is the way that this is wired, the other end of this has bare wires, you need to strip those. They would just basically at the very top of the light, if you can see in there; there are holes at the very top that are large holes.
Itll indicate tail light brown and over here, it says for the, this is the passenger side, so the green wire would be the passenger side stop and turn. It says right here, the stop and turn, green. Basically, what youll do is strip the wires and then just push them into those top holes and they would lock in place. To remove, theres a small hole underneath, you just use a small screwdriver or something to push, like a paperclip to push into that small hole then you can release the wire. Basically, with the wire stripped, you would just push them in and thats how they would connect.You would connect on this side; you would connect the brown and yellow or the brown and green, and then the solid green. On the driver side, the solid yellow and the yellow and brown. Those are the connections you would need. Now, it also does come with, if your vehicle does not have a vehicle-end connector. It does come with one with about a four-foot long cord. Again, a separate white-brown wire that would need to be grounded. In the same way, this would stripped and you can use the attaching quick connectors that are attached just to the wiring harness on your vehicle. I first did a search as I bought a new utility trailer and the lights were bad. When I searched I hit on YouTube video that showed how to install this. I liked it because there was no splicing. I got the kit and installed it myself with no help (and I am not that mechanical minded) and it worked great. The video had part numbers the lights were correct but the main part number was not. The only down side is the video show it came with a prewired ground and it just has the wire so I had to buy and install the group wire connect for $1.5924983
