Today, we're reviewing Optronics, Part Number TLL56RK. This is a trailer light kit made for trailers that are less than 80 inches wide. The lights are waterproof and the kit comes with a 25-foot wiring harness with your four-pole plug. It also comes with all the mounting hardware that you need and a license plate bracket. LEDs as you know will last for thousands of hours and you wont need to change any bulbs.On the bottom of the driver side light, you can see a clear strip there. That is the LEDs that serve as the license plate illuminator.
The license plate bracket sits on the back of the driver side light like that. Each of these lights has three wires in the back, the brown wire on both lights is your tail light.The green wire on the passenger side light is your stop and turn signal, and your white wire is the ground. On the driver side, the brown again is your tail light, the yellow light is your stop and turn light and white again is the ground.Now, we can turn our lights off and Ill show you how these operate. Were using a portable power source today. What you see now is the tail light function.
Theres a brake light and heres your turn signal. Now, we can turn our overhead lights back on and measure them.Each of these lights is six inches long, 2-1/4 inches wide. Lets do it this way, and 3-5/8 inches high. These are approved by the Department of Transportation and there is a lifetime warranty on the LEDs. Just installed these today on my fresh water only boat trailer. Replacing my old, incandescent lights with these was a snap. Time will tell how they hold up in freshwater. E-trailer shipped the product immediately and has excellent communications.78602
