This rectangular light can be used as a clearance or side marker light. The red lens is reflectorized, meaning that a separate reflector is not needed for DOT compliance. The light measures 3-29/32" long x 1-27/32" wide x 1-1/32" deep. The molded plastic housing and durable lens provide durable lens provide all-weather protection against corrosion. The light features a replaceable, screw-down lens and easy-to-replace bulb. The light mounts on 3-3/8" centers and has a twist-in socket containing the lead and ground wires for mounting to any surface.

Today we are going to show you Optronics rectangular trailer clearance and side marker light, part number MC48RB. The lens of this light is reflectorized to DOT standards. Both the lens and the bulb are user replaceable. The light is designed to surface mount using mounting holes that are 3-3/8 inches on center. Included with the light is a foam gasket to help seal it against the trailer. The light is a two wire design meaning there will be one wire lead for ground and the other for power. Next we are going to hook this light up to our power supply so you can see how it looks. We will connect the white wire to ground and the black wire to power. Next we will turn off the overhead lights so you can see how bright the light is. And that does it for Optronics rectangular trailer clearance and side marker light, part number MC48RB.

Dead ringer replacement for the brittle and broken ones installed 15 years ago when my camper was new. Because the camper wiring was sound I chose to discard the new bulb holders and use my existing ones after harvesting the new bulbs. Truly identical refits - and they look great!80869
