This square light can be used as a clearance or side marker light. The red lens is reflectorized, meaning that a separate reflector is not needed for DOT compliance. The light features a replaceable, screw-down lens and easy-to-replace bulb. The light contains a single lead wire for power and is grounded through the mounting stud.

Today we are going to take a look at Optronics square trailer clearance and side marker light, part number MC36RB. The lens on this light is reflectorized to DOT standards. Both the bulb and the lens are replaceable. It is a single wire system meaning you will have one wire for your power connection and your ground connection will actually come through the mounting stud or the mounting hardware. Next we will hook the light up to the power supply so you can see how it looks. We will take our ground and clip it to the mounting stud at the back and we will clip our power to our wire lead. Next we will turn off the overhead lights so you can see how bright the light is. And that does it for Optronics square trailer clearance light, part number MC36RB.
