Today, were going to review part number PSRV20000103. This is the Pro Series, round A-frame sidewind jack. The standard A-frame jack is a utility jack which is perfect for agricultural and commercial applications. It does contain precision-fit parts which will provide exceptional stability and reliability. The mounting bracket, which is the triangular part right here, can be welded on or bolted on to any standard A-frame trailer. The bolt-on would use the three holes, the elongated holes, and the distance from the center to center of the holes this 3 inches from either way, and that is the industry standard on the mounting holes on an A-frame trailer.
It does have a front-facing sidewind handle which has smooth ergonomic design for easy cranking. It does have an external gearbox at the top here which is easily accessible by removing these two bolts. The outer tube is a 2-1/8-inch diameter and the inner tube is a 2-inch diameter. They both have a black painted finish. The tube wall thickness on those is 2 to 3 mm.
Now, this jack does not come with any baseplate assembly. Now, I am going to do a few measurements on this for you. This jack, I have in the totally retracted position. In other words, fully up; and that will give you an overall length in the retracted position of 21 inches. The actual retracted dimension, which would be from here to the mounting plate would be 9 inches, and let me give you the clearance which would be from the mounting plate to the top of the jack.
On this one, it would be 13 inches. Another measurement is the extended dimension which would be with the jack fully extended out. I have the same jack here in the extended position, and that measurement from here to the mounting bracket would be 23 inches. Actually, to get the actual lift on this jack, you would take the extended dimension of 23 inches and the totally retracted dimension of 9 inches, and subtract that, it would give you 14 inches of lift. In another words, when this jack is fully extended out from the retracted position and it would be able to lift 14 inches.
This jack does have a lift capacity of 2,000 pounds and it does come with a limited 1-year warranty. Now, I also just wanted to mention, since it does not come with a base assembly, theres a couple of choices you can use. There is the footplate which is sold separately. It is part number PS1400700340, and basically it will come with the footplate and the pin and clip and what you would do is line the holes up with the holes in the bottom of the jack and then just run your pin through; put the clip on; and that would give you a footplate on the bottom of your jack. The other part you could use would be a caster assembly and I have this one here which is sold separately. It is part number PS1400750340. Again, this would be the wheel caster assembly with the pin and clip. Again, that would just mount on, lining the holes up, pin through and that would give you the caster assembly on the bottom of the jack. This jack come with a limited 1 year warranty. That should do it for part number PSRV20000103.

Fit and ease of installation were great. This is part of a moderate rebuild of an older trailer that consisted of the jack, new axel and hubs and a gate lift kit. I may order a castor attachment for the base of the jack as well. That way I would have what I need for soft ground and pavement. The instructional videos are a great idea. 64882

I am happy with this product, it was a replacement for an old jack on my trailer frame. The gear box works well and it's quite a bit easier to raise and lower my trailer frame. The only snag I hit was that this jack doesn't come with any nuts&bolts. I re-used my existing ones but, the hole in this jack for the bolt head is much larger, and I didn't feel comfortable so I had to get some washers from the local hardware store. I ended up replacing the nuts while I was at it. Overall happy with the product, would be ideal if it included nuts & bolts for installation as well. 50756

This is 100x better than the jack I had on my horse trailer before. My wife can even crank it up now without and problems and I can do it with one hand vs the two and back strain I had with my old top crank. It's very smooth and there is very little motion in the trailer while raising and lowering. Bolted right on to my 94' Valley 2 horse without any problems. Added the foot plate and now I don't need to use a 4x6 to keep the trailer from sinking into the ground. Shipping was very quick (a lot faster than Amazon) and it was packed very well. Next month when it's time to do the brakes I'll be contacting these guys again!44848

The trailer jack assembly worked great. No problems fitting onto the trailer original mount. Previous jack had a top crank handle and mounted similar. This assembly mounted up very easily. Also the time for shipping was upgraded after ordering at no charge and received in awesome time. We will do business in the future.23260
