Video Transcript for Bulldog Trailer Jack BD195369 Review

Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Bulldog Square Jack with Fixed Leg, part number BD195369. Now, Bulldog covers this jack with a limited five-year warranty. It has a static capacity of 5000 pounds and a lift capacity of 3000 pounds. It's a direct weld style jack, meaning you can weld the jack directly to the trailer frame anywhere along this jack body. The outer body is finished in a gray paint and the inner tube is zinc plated to help prevent against corrosion. There are also pre-drilled holes here at the bottom of the inner tube so you can mount things like a footplate or a wheel.

This jack has sidewind setup which may come in handy if you have LP bottles or toolbox on the front of your trailer nose. This way there won't be as much interference as you might have with the topwind jack. On the back of the jack, you also notice there's a zerk fitting here. That way you can attach your grease gun and keep the internals properly lubricated. Now, I want to go over a couple of measurements.

We have this jack here which is fully retracted. We'll measure from the top of the jack down to the bottom of the inner tube, and we get about 24-1/4 inches. We have another one of these jacks, same model, where we have it fully extended. We'll take that same measurement from the top of the jack down to the bottom of the inner tube and we get 39-1/4 inches. Now, the difference between those two measurements is 15 inches which is known as the jack's lift or travel.

And that does it for our look at the Bulldog Square Jack with Fixed Leg, part number BD195369.

Ask the Experts about this Bulldog Trailer Jack

  • Dimensions of the Inner Tube and Caster Hole for the Bulldog Trailer Jack # BD195369
  • I went out and measured a Bulldog Square Jack # BD195369 like you referenced and found that the dimensions of the inner square tube are 1-15/16 inch by 1-15/16 and the hole has a diameter of 9/16 of an inch. Check out the picture I attached that shows this measurement. I wish we had an option that would allow the handle to swivel out of the way, but we do not offer anything at this time that would do that.

  • How Far Does the handle Stick out on Bulldog Trailer Jack # BD195369
  • I suppose that since you are using this jack but are asking for the measurement that you do not actually have the jack present. So I will be happy to help you. There is a little bit of play in the handle but when measuring from the side of the jack out to the end of the handle it will be at least 4-5/8 inches and at most 4-7/8 inches. I made a picture showing the measurement for you.
