Install is straight forward. the whole hitch is asymetrical, so be sure to loosely position it and mark drill hole before drilling. The Bumper's steel is not that dense, i got by with a standard drill, and jsut went slowly, pausing to oil frequently. Slower but cheaper. Also I would Loctite the bolts, as they will probably never be removed again. If the rear bumper cover does not fit on again, it's because you need to trimmed. Keep trimming until it fits.10005

Excellent quality hitch. The hitch included everything needed to install and attach your trailer ball to with only a few exceptions as they listed (drill bit, drill, wrenches, misc hand tools.) To make the installation perfect installer needs to pay close attention to where they drill. I put tape on my bumper and marked the tape to aid installation. I am very happy with my installation with only minimal tools and the car never lifted off the ground. Good luck! Well worth the price. I am very happy.2929
Tech Tip
Save time drilling with a 1/2" Rotabroach (# 6810) or carbide drill bit.Drilling required for installation, Trunk access required for hitch installation
