I received my Curt Trailer hitch for the sole purpose of mounting into the rear of my wife's 2012 Toyota Corolla SE in order to mount the Thule Doubletrack Bike Rack that we ordered June 2013 and had been using on the rear of truck. To save fuel to and from our biking destinations we order the Curt Class I hitch for her Toyota. It arrived on the estimated date of delivery. Immediately removed it from the cardboard box it was and with the included bolts and washers I installed in literally five minutes time. My wife helped me hold it place while I hand-threaded the bolts into place. With a 19mm, 3/8" drive socket and a 9" extension (needed to reach between the tailpipe and the frame up to the bolts on the passenger side...driver's side done with just the socket). I torqued it to the specified 85 foot pounds of torque with a 3/8" torque wrench and I was done. The hitch looked great by itself, and mounting the rack into the hitch was a cinch and looked great also. On a side note...the Thule Double Rack Bike Rack also purchased earlier from Etrailer when folded up, does not interfere with view of the brake and taillights. As a repeat customer, I was also given Express Customer Service, and my order was literally on it way out for delivery within two hours of placing my order. Etrailer.com has been awesome to work with, and they have become my go-to source for all things trailer-related. Thank you Etrailer.com. :) 124022
First and foremost a kudos goes to Christy B. for handling my order by telephone with skill, courtesy, and aplomb. A tip of the hat goes to all the staff behind the scenes to make this operation so smooth. This hitch for a 10th generation Toyota Corolla is precisely manufactured and painted. Installation with the included hardware was a breeze. Note: If your Corolla is equipped with a custom or aftermarket exhaust such as the well made Borla cat-back kit, the rear hanger standoff might interfere with the right side hitch bracket. Suggest checking and if necessary devise a minimal work around. As most know, paint quality is only part of the equation. Base metal prep is important and I will assume I should not be concerned. 159288
Super easy to install, just four screws and ready. I already use for my bike rack and is ideal for on and off. I highly recommend. 112039

I ordered this hitch for my 2014 Corolla for use with my Swagman XC bike rack. I am pleased with the quality of this hitch, it is much heavier duty than I expected. It bolted up easily with the supplied hardware and looks great. Hardly noticeable. The bike rack fits perfectly. Now I am ready to hit the trails. 143553

I bought this recently because my 96 Ranger became unsafe to drive...frame rust among other things. I still need to haul things so I put the hitch on my Corolla, and with a new light trailer, am back in business. The slotted holes made installation easy. Because of the age of my car it had a lot of corrosion and debris in the nut holes so I had to buy a tap [$5 at a big box store] and clean them out before installing. The round tubing is sleek and unobtrusive. The only negative; the receiver tube had a light burr on two sides, probably from the cut off process during manufacturing, so I had to use a flat file about ten strokes to allow the ball mount to slide in 160085

The entire process couldn't have been easier! Placed my order on Wednesday and got an email that the billing address hadn't been changed on my card yet ( I just bought a farm and had forgotten to change that one) talked to them girls etrailer Thursday morning, correcting my error, and my order was in my hands on Friday. A++++ service 144505
The hitch appears well made and was super easy to install. 86 foot pounds of torque is required to tighten the 4 bolts into the car frame so Popeye-sized muscle is required. The wiring T-connecter was also easy to install. Make sure you order the correct hitch (I goofed and accidentally ordered a hitch for a Scion). That was a $50 mistake in return UPS fees. I still have not received reimbursement for the returned hitch. Their order shipping was fast. Come on eTrailer, credit my return! 151826

Product arrived on time, with excellent packing. Fit perfectly. The longest part of the installation was finding my 19mm socket which I had left where I would always remember where it was, but once I found it I installed the hitch in about 5 minutes. I am using it to put a bike rack on which I haul my moms wheelchair on. 145784

This one, I installed it in 4 1/2 minutes. The four way electric wiring clipped into the tail lights in two minutes. I spent about thirty minutes exposing the wire access. This was the easiest install yet. I have installed three Curt trailer hitches so far. All of them fit perfectly. 140848

Easy to install if you have 4 hands. Finish on it seems solid. I have not used It yet, but for light duty trailer use it should work fine. 150950
