Powder coated steel is sturdy and corrosion resistant.This went on a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUMMIT edition. I wasn't sure if it would fit a Summit package, since it wasn't specifically included or excluded. It fit perfectly and was appropriately rated as 3:10 difficulty to install and 30 miniutes install time (as long as you are moderately mechanically inclined. Great solution for bike racks and light towing. Super fast shipping.
Great experience, best online price on this quality hitch, (discrete and looking much better than the model showing the tube running across and underneath the rear bumper) quickly delivered in a very professional packaging.

Great product and great delivery time. Literally installed it in 30 minutes. Can’t wait to put it to good use. The only small issue I have is that the cover for the t-connector wiring harness is for a 4-port instead of the 5-port. Thank you.
The Curt C13065 hitch was received quickly and installed in two hours by myself (73 yrs old) using no hoist or even a jack or creeper. Just laid on the double corrugated cardboard shipping box with my sockets and torque wrench. It tucks up nicely out of sight except for the 2 inch receiver. The install went fine and is shown with the Yakima Holdup 2 Y02443 both received quickly from etrailer. Both shown on the back of my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Highly satisfied with both.
The box it was delivered in was quite destroyed, but no damage to the product, which is excellent. I installed it in 20 minutes, and it looks fantastic. Thanks etrailer!
Excellent product and very straightforward to install. Opted for the Curt T-Connector C55515 and will have my dealer flash computer to recognize new configuration. Already used hitch with trailer to haul several heavy items up to about 2000lbs with no trouble whatsoever. Should have got this years ago!
Ordered this particular hitch for my '11 GC because the reviews were good and I wanted one that would be relatively subtle in appearance. It definitely met my expectations - it seems very well built and the only exposed portion is the receiver - everything else sits up behind the rear facia. Installation was incrediably easy too. I added an OEM receiver cover and it looks very clean - almost as if it came from the factory - except I have a full bumper! Included are a few pic's exhibiting what it looks like installed.
Bought this hitch for my 2014 Grand Cherokee to carry my bicycles. Customer service was very useful in completing the order. The order was shipped overseas to San Juan, PR arriving promptly and in excellent condition. I installed the hitch by myself in under 30 minutes without any difficulties. The installed hitch looks great. I'am very happy with this product and my buying experience.
Anyone, and I mean anyone with basic tool skills can perform this installation in approximately one hour. Including installation of the wiring harness. A second set of hand may help holding the assembly in place while bolting it in, but not vital if you ate your Wheaties for breakfast. "Hats Off" to etrailer for making this affordable and a breeze to install. Now off to boating.
Bought this hitch as an early Father’s Day gift for my dads 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee ...fit like a glove!! Installation time 10 minutes!!..just a 21mm socket, impact wrench and torque wrench needed.

I’m no hitch expert but this receiver has been great on my grand Cherokee. I mostly use it to hold a bike rack but good to know I have towing capabilities in the future. E trailers had great info, particularly on the install, so I was able to save some mega bucks by installing myself, without having to cut my bumper. Also, have yet to notice any clearance issues.
I’ve had trouble finding a hitch that would fit around my aftermarket exhaust. 2011 Grand Cherokee V8 with Gibson exhaust that are wider than the stock exhaust. The Draw-Tite was to wide. The Curt hitch was a perfect fit. Excellent quality as well. If you have aftermarket exhaust or just need more clearance the Curt is perfect.
Easiest install and very excellent quality. It looks so perfect that this could be a factory hitch. I would buy from etrailer again and again. This makes the family Jeep useful and packing the boat and heading to the wild soon.
I was in need of a tow hitch and I came across etrailer.com - I was excited to receive my delivery, however UPS delivered my shipment to another address and I had to endure the process of filing a claim and waiting for confirmation and be resent another trailer hitch. Fit perfect on my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Hardest part was removing factory frame bolts, 20 min total time for install by myself.

this hitch has done everything I needed it to do . best was the ease of installation and looks under the Jeep.
Great product has performed well. I did have to grind a little off one of the mounting plates - not sure if my frame was 1/8” off or if the hitch receiver was, but other than that the install went easy.
I leave it on, the rack I mean, all year long to hold my cooler with dead fish or waders to keep the stink out of the car. It also serves to carry boxes and other things to increase the vehicles carrying capacities! I have a number of people asking where I got it and how they could mount the same rack for carrying camping gear.

Thanks for the follow up, and wow! Time flies....I still love the hitch and put it to good use every week about twice a week to take my boat to the ramps among other things.
