Fire perfect on my 2011 Kia Sportage. Make sure you have the bolt hooked on the frame completely cleaned out first. Gonna my cargo carriers and mobility scooter perfectly. Love that the hitch is fully under the car. Great place to order your stuff!

2010 Hyundai Tucson

Got it installed on my 2010 Tucson with little fuss. Was able to do it by myself in about 40 minutes, but the first chunk of that was cleaning out the nuts and trying to figure out how to lower my exhaust pipe (I couldn't figure it out so instead had to work the hitch up there around the pipe which took some effort but worked). Haven't attached anything to it yet, but just ordered the bike rack so will do so in due time!

A year later and it works perfectly. Use it to hold a 4-bike rack and it keeps everything on without much shaking. Would recommend.

2013 Kia Sportage

I was able to install this myself on my 2013 Kia Sportage in the parking lot of my apartment complex. Took me 20 minutes and it was very easy. All I used for the install was a socket wrench for the bolts, and spray lube to loosen one side of the muffler hanger boot. Of course, two people are recommended but I was able to do it alone. This is as direct fit as a receiver hitch comes! I am very happy with the product and also the customer service of etrailer.com. I will buy from them again!

2015 Hyundai Tucson

The draw tite trailer hitch fit perfectly on my 2015 Hyundai Tucson SE AWD. I had more troubles getting the exhaust lowered than I did putting the hitch in place. Installation took about 40 minutes doing it by myself, but I was also on crutches so moving around wasn't easy.

by:

Easy to install. Second receiver I've purchased from etrailer and if I need another in the future, this is where I will buy it. Packaged perfectly and instructions were in the box. I watched the online install video one last time before I installed it.

by:

Incredibly fast delivery and great customer service. Selecting the proper receiver was quick and easy. Highly recommend!

I ordered this for a 2013 Hyundai Tucson. It was a very easy job. Just remove the muffler hangers and bolt into place. Quick and easy.

Ive had this hitch for over a year now and I am still very happy and satisfied. Like with any hitch, grease the receiver hole before use.

by:

Worked out great. Fit well, installation was easy. Needed a second person to help maneuver it into place, but I was able to install it without dropping the exhaust.

2016 Kia Sportage

I got the hitch for my 2011 kia sportage the fit was perfect took around 30 mins to install it the hardest part was lowering the exhaust the rubber hangers were tight I did have a buddy hold up one side and start the bolts as soon as I order the trailer light wires I'm towing my 16 ft boat but mostly it's for my cargo rack my main reason for ordering from this site was price I was quoted 700 from a shop to install one and this is a bolt on part I will order from etrailer again

So after a few time using the hitch receiver I found a issue I had to get a shim for it the hitch mounted cargo rack bounced around a lot but the shim fixed it my hitch fits better but still use the shim on them also I got the hitch and cargo rack from a discount tool store and think thats why they bounc I am still very happy with the receiver and would recommend it to anyone

2015 Hyundai Tucson

I have a Hyundai Tuscon and this trailer hitch fits perfectly. My husband and I installed it, and even though we don't typically work on cars, it was easy. The only challenging things was that the rubber mounts are quite tight and hard to get on - but it's good because they don't rattle or slip. Use some lubricant to make it easier and it will save you some time. Also, props to etrailer, which provided me excellent customer service with questions about a locking bolt, and exchanged one that didn't fit right. I was very, very impressed and will be a customer for life and have recommended them to others.

Still a great value one year in. Once you figure out the best configuration for the bikes, loading is fast. Everything feels secure, but I use a couple bungee cords to keep things tight and not rattling.

The [Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"
Item # 75717] for my 2016 Kia Sportage LX fit like a glove.
...and the video instructions for the wiring harness [T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Item # 118526] were excellent.
Only 1 improvement from me: use a stiff rod to fish power line under the skid plate (vs. taking it down).

Excellent products.

2014 Hyundai Tucson

This hitch was for my 2014 Hyundai Tucson. It arrived as promised and in excellent condition.

The muffler needed to be dropped in order to install this hitch. No issues with that. A little WD-40 and the muffler popped right off the hangers.

I installed this hitch by myself while lying on the ground. No lift, no jack stands, no additional pair of hands. I had asked my wife to come out to hold up one side while I attached the other. Since she was heavily involved in the 2nd hour of "fixing her hair", I continued on my own.

I held up one end of the hitch with my feet while using my hands to bolt in the other end. Since half the weight was now supported by bolts, it was easy to reach over to the other side and install those bolts.

In all, installation was fast and easy. Oh yes...my wife's hair looked great too. Thanks for asking.

Were glad to know that the hitch install went well, even if you had to make it work all by your lonesome. Wed love to see pictures of the final result. Hitch or hair, either one works.

Its been a year since we installed this hitch on our Tucson. We use it for a 2-bike rack and it has performed as expected. I did need to install a collar to lock it down to stop movementbouncing. That works very well too. The muffler is very close to the hitch, almost touching, and I can occasionally hear them bump together under certain conditions. Not a big deal so I havent felt the need to modify anything.

This is one of the best websites I have ever visited. Are usually don't go for the sponsored websites on Google but I check this one out. First off the price of their items is 50% less work more than any other website I found. Secondly I've never seen a more detailed website especially in terms of instructional videos and step-by-step instructions. They literally have an instructional video for every model car, every year, and for every part that they sell that I could find. I might be off but they had it for all of the stuff I was looking for.
To cap it all off, I decided to call in and speak to someone just to clarify I was buying the right thing. To my amazing surprise I got someone in the United States who spoke English and knew every detail about every item that was being sold to me. They even suggested I get the cheaper model of something because it actually was a better piece of equipment.
When I finally received the equipment earlier than I said I would get it, I watched the instructional videos for both items that I received and it made this the easiest installation process of anything I have ever watched/done in my life.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend this website enough if you're looking for anything that they are selling get it through Etrailer.com!
...and no, they did not pay me to say any of this. As a matter fact I rarely leave reviews but my experience with them was so good I just had to spread the word.

Joe

Yes I still love your product and I’m still saying praises about you and your website to all my friends and family. The hitch is just resting out a little bit but I’m sure that’s to be expected with these type of products up north. Thank you so much for your continued help and interest I’ll keep spreading the word.

The hitch is very high quality and easy to install, just four bolts. It arrived on time as expected. The customer service agent helped me pick the best receiver and I did not regret it. The customer service is excellent at etrailer. I intend to use them again for purchasing accessories. The online videos are excellent demonstrations too.

2 nd order from etrailer after a buddy of mine told me about the site. shipping was fast, and received several updates on status of order. Hitch went in after i dropped exhaust, in about 10 minutes. Great customer service, great prices, great product, perfect directions. Customer for life.

2/28/2014

The only thing I would update would be the exhaust knocks into the corner of the hitch while driving. Its only a small noise, and I have tried to put something to hold the exhaust in place with no success. Other than that product is fine, and dealing with your company is always a pleasure. The fact that you are checking up is amazing. Thanks for your time!

Patrick B.

2/28/2014

Most of the times exhaust and hitch contact is just a result of the looser tolerances used for exhaust hangers since the system moves so much anyway. It is not a common problem, but it is not rare either. We wrote up a Tech Article with all the tricks that the guys in our shop use when they run into it. Check out the link.

Got the Hitch in 3 days, had an update on shipping in less than 10 minutes from the time the order was placed. These guys do a great job. This particular hitch is very easy to install, it took me and my brother maybe 10 minutes to have the hitch installed and ready to go. You will not be disappointed if your looking for a hitch for your 2012 Sportage don't hesitate to order from these guys.

I have been extremely pleased with my Draw-Tite hitch. Not only was it an incredibly easy and well fitted installation, it has held up well to over a year of use. I highly recommend this hitch if you're looking for one to put on your 2015-2021 Sportage.

by:

Little hard to install but got it in but I don't think it had to do with I think it had to do with my threaded holes that I already had cuz they were rusted but it went in easy little frustrated when it came to the removing the exhaust pipe but all together excellent easy sturdy you like it use it

2012 Hyundai Tucson

I like the product which is a DrawTite class III hitch for our 2012 Hyundai Tuscon it worked well towing a motorcycle on a trailer about 1200+ mi. The included directions for hitch installation as well as those for the added lighting kit were clear and easily understood. Other than developing a method for raising the hitch up to the Tuscon's rear sub frame to allow for installation it was all strait forward. Great people that know their product, delivery was timely. I would do it all over again.

2011 Hyundai Tucson

This is more a review of service than the product. I wanted to install a hitch on my Hyundai Tucson and had done internet research settling on etrailer to purchase the parts. I had chosen the parts I thought I needed, but was nervous about them being correct and if I had everything. I decided to call etrailer and just talk to someone. I had the distinct pleasure of working with Mark S. on the phone. He was friendly and so very helpful. He made some thoughtful suggestions and answered all my questions respectfully. I felt completely supported and never felt like he was trying to pull one over on me, nor did he talk down to me.

This is my second great experience with etrailer. The first was an email exchange about their recommendation for a roof rack system. Again, the response was immediate, friendly and sound. I'm a confirmed etrailer customer from now on.

by:
2010 Hyundai Tucson

Prior to buying this hitch, I was misinformed about hitches, I thought they were permanent items welded to your vehicle frame. After doing a search online, I came upon etrailer and read the reviews. The reviews were all very good so I decided to take a chance and it was a good chance I took.

Installation was very easy, took me and a buddy about 10 minutes. I sprayed silicon on the muffler hangars and cleaned the bolt holes ahead of time. At nearly 40 pounds, it's not too heavy but when you're on your back trying to balance it, that's where I can see another set of hands coming in handy but if I didn't have help, I could've also done it with a small vehicle jack.

I did not have to raise my vehicle, Hyundai Tucson, and just laid underneath the vehicle and pushed the hitch up and hand threaded the bolts. We did take the muffler off the hangar on the passenger side but the driver side muffler hangar did not need to be taken off.

We each did our side, I tightened it with a ratchet and then torqued to specification.

Great product at a great price and easy to install. Now the trailer brake light is next.
