Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"
Curt hitches are extremely well made and I have installed them on several trucks over the years and used them extensively with good luck. This hitch was no exception; it fit perfectly and bolted up easily. However, the hardware package lacked the two bolts that tread into the bumper, necessitating a trip to the hardware store.
I ordered my trailer hitch on Saturday and it was delivered the following Wednesday. That is great service. It was very easy to install.

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class IV - 2"
Product arrived when promised. Assembly was MUCH heavier than the OEM original I removed from my 2012 Sierra. Mounting was as described and straight forward. Using a pnumatic impact, job took 20 minutes start to finish. Only mounting difference was the old, light weight OEM had (2) mounting bolts out at the bumper area directly above the reciever. This unit didn't have them do to it heavier, square bar design. The OEM design was tubular and weighed less than half this unit. Thus, the need to have additional mounting points.
Item arrived as scheduled and as described complete with mounting bolts. My only complaint is that the hitch was not packed as well as it could've been. The shipping box was made of heavy weight cardboard but still has a couple of tears in it allowing the hitch to bang on the ground or back of truck. This resulted in a couple of scratches to the hitch and to the label that has the weight specs on it. I would suggest shrink wrapping the entire hitch prior to placing it in the box.

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2"
I just got it delivered and I will install it on my nephews truck in the next few days. The hitch looks very well built compared to the hitch on my 2007 GMC Sierra 2500HD. I would buy this receiver for my truck if I needed one.
Well built. What it should be. My gripes are not including two new bolts for the 14mm bolts and not having a pre-drilled spot for a 7 pin mount. Other than that the shipping was fast and the product is nice.

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V XD - 2"
Great price, quick shipping even with the pandemic going on. Had a little trouble installing this heavy duty hitch by myself but went on very easy with no issues. I have not pulled anything yet, but don't expect any issues with this 16k rating on a 1/2 ton truck.
Hitch receiver arrived in a box with LOTS of holes in it from the edges or the receiver. Luckily the hardware and instructions were attached to the receiver with enough packing tape to survive nuclear attack. Removal and installation went according to directions and in an hour i had a NICE heavy duty receiver. Great product - weak box.

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V Commercial Duty - 2-1/2"
When I discovered that my factory installed hitch was only rated for 7500lbs I knew I needed something different. Etrailer came through again. This hitch is exactly what i needed. My camper has a GVW of 12K and i have the weight distribution hitch. Easy to install and the 4" drop just what i needed to lower my bumper also.
Looks like a well built hitch, installing over the weekend.

etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2"
Simple install on my 2012 GMC Sierra 1500. Took all of 30 minutes with a cordless impact and a wrench. Fits exactly like the factory one.
Fast shipping and installation was a snap. Would be 5 stars but the bolts that install into the bumper itself were the wrong size and I had to hunt up a couple. All in all very satisfied. This is my second time buying here and I will buy here again in the future.

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V XD - 2"
Very well made. Excellent welds and fit was nice. No need to remove or even loosen the spare tire, there was plenty of room to operate. Receiver does sit approx. 2" higher than the factory hitch that I was replacing, but that was not an issue for me. Very happy with the hitch and peace of mind that Trailer will be secure as we travel down the highway. This hitch will carry ANYTHING I will ever hook to it.
Hitch is a lot better than factory junk, easy install.

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class IV - 2"
fast service / great parts
I've had this hitch installed on my truck for one year now. I installed it by myself the day it arrived. It took me 1 hour. I could have had it done in 30 minutes with a buddy. Super easy install. great build quality. Looks great. My 2000 v-6 4.3 pulls things is has no business pulling. Makes me smile and feel warm inside. I'm glad I went with this model. I cannot think of any shortcomings. I have to also give a hand to etrailer for making everything so easy. You've gained a customer for life.

Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2"
The new hitch was installed with no problem. I even installed a 2018 Silverado bumper to replace the rusted out 2003 bumper. Even though it recommends OEM bumper mine went together perfect with the newer version.
Receiver arrived quickly and was a breeze to install. I used a floor jack under the center and used it to balance while starting the nuts and bolts. Maybe 30 minutes total to install it. Solidly built. My old receiver lasted 20+ years. This one is built stronger. Probably outlast the truck frame.

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V XD - 2"
Ordered the Curt XD hitch # C15313 for my 2001 GMC Sierra 2500HD and it arrived 1 day earlier than expected with no issues. Ordering was easy and product info was spot on. This hitch is tuff as it gets for a 2 inch receiver and fit perfectly. Will fit a 10 inch drop bumper with no problem. As I have a stock step bumper, the hitch sits 3 inches below bottom of bumper. No more rubbing issues from trailer tongue I had before.
THe hitch installed very easily. A great purchasing experience all around.

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"
Curt makes good products. Very friendly online purchase experience. I would recommend some foam packaging inside the box as my hitch arrived bent. I was able to bend it back with the help of a large C-clamp so the holes lined up. Although the box looked good I suspect it was dropped and that may have caused the bend.
my only problem was it didnt fit quite right , i had to lay on my back and spread it apart with my legs while my son ran the bolts in , and the r/side bolt by hitch tube was a half hole off and could get a bolt in it so now it will have to be welded to the frame where the bolt is missing, so other than it not fitting right it seems sturdy

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V Commercial Duty - 2-1/2"
The instructions are wrong stating one hole per side has to be drilled, reality is two holes per side must be drilled and old hardware reused for these holes. In my case the side pieces were missing from my order.
The hitch was exactly what it said it was and fit perfect. To date I have never been disappointed with etrailer. Your customer service is impeccable in an age when customer service is unheard of. Thank You!!

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"
Hitch was as described, was delivered in good condition and in a timely fashion. etrailer.com called me with a question about my online order and they were very polite and professional. After researching several other sites I settled on etrailer.com as they had the best selection, prices and free delivery. My hitch is now installed on my truck and I am very pleased with the results. Overall this has been an excellent experience. Note that this was to replace an existing GM factory installed cl. III hitch that was disintegrating due to rust. The Curt hitch is a much heavier duty hitch than the factory original and I expect it will last much longer.
The Curt is a sturdy hitch and exact fit

We received our hitch and it was just as pictured. The service from etrailer was great and we received our product within a week. Nick was very helpful answering our questions about the hitch. Loved working with him.
Good heavy duty product. Installation instructions could be much better. But overall not super hard to install. Make sure you have some large deep sockets to take off the factory Chevy hitch.
etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Installation - 2012 GMC Sierra
Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2012 GMC Sierra, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the etrailer.com class three, two inch trailer hitch receiver. Now that we have our hitch in place, we're going to be able to use our truck to tow a variety of different trailers, boats, jet skis, whatever you might have. And something a lot of truck owners kind of forget about too, you can also use it for bike racks or even cargo carriers. That way we can free up some space in our truck's bed.Now one of the things that separates this hitch from some of the others on the market is the way it looks. Its finish is going to be a little bit different. It's going to have a matte black carbide finish and that's going to really stand up well to the elements.

Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2012 GMC Sierra, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt class three, two inch trailer hitch receiver. Now one of my favorite things about this hitch is the way it looks. And that's kind of what sets it apart from some of the other hitches on the market too. I really like how our safety chain openings are sloped down and in my opinion, it just gives it kind of a neat look. One of the other thing that separates this hitch from any of the others, is it has a really heavy duty weight capacity. The maximum gross tongue weight rating for the hitch, it's going to be 800 pounds. That's going to be the amount of weight pushing down on our hitch.
