Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"
Awesome. . Perfect fit for my 2013 Ram..Easy to install , especially with all the hardware that's included. I had read previous reviews and noticed a 1/2 inch hex key was needed so I purchased that before the hitch arrived that way I was ready to install. From the time I opened box , dropped spare tire, install and tighten the hitch to jacking back up the spare and being tow ready in 30 min. Thanks etrailer for a great product at a great price.. I am a satisfied customer.
This hitch was for my son's new "used" Dodge Ram 4 wheel drive pickup purchased. along with a drop draw bar and ball. The online instructions even showed how to select the correct draw bar drop for the specific hitch/trunk combination based on the trailer coupler height from the ground with the trailer level. The installation of the 2 bolts and plates inside the bumper support tube using the wires supplied along with on line video and a little care went very well. The only issue was tightening the 13 MM recess 13 MM hex bolt through the top of the bumper into the hitch. I had to borrow a 3/4" drive socket from a garage.

Hitch is fine, but the instructions for the Dodge pickups are wrong. instructions were poor and had you drill out your frame instead of utilizing the existing holes and aligning the rivets in the frame with the other hole. you do not have to drill any new holes, only enlarge 2 existing holes and everything lines up great.
Installed on 99 Ram 2500 4x4 long bed. Install took 4+ hrs. Had to torch off the old bolts. Had to drill new holes for 1 set of bolts. The safety chain loops are so thick that it is difficult to get my breakaway switch carabiner on. All in all, super heavy duty, it fit with spare tire and 4” exhaust. Just properly block it up. I didn’t the first time, and it fell on my face.

The kit was an excellent and easy install. The video was perfect for a tutorial. Removing the spare tire was about as much work as installing the hitch!! My Ram 1500 R/T now looks like it was born with a trailer hitch.
I saved about $160 by purchasing this item from etrailer, and another $50 was saved by installing it myself. It arrived on the day it was promised. This is my second purchase from etrailer. They have excellent prices and customer service. I watched the installation video and installed it by myself in about an hour. I tried using my floor jack to help lifting it but my driveway is inclined and the jack rolled. I used wire to hold the front bolts in the frame as I was worried that they wold fall back into the frame. This worked out well. I will purchase from etrailer again and would recommend them to anyone!

I received your hitch February 16th A.M. I took a floor jack and removed the plate and added a 6 inch drop hitch to the jack and bolted it through the hole where the plate was backwards. I slid the receiver hitch unto the hitch and jacked it up under the truck into place. I put the six bolts back in and torqued them as the instructions said in about twenty minutes. By using the floor jack it was a very easy installment. I was very happy with the hitch it fit perfect. Thank you.
I got my hitch on time in good condition and the installation video was very helpful.

I received my hitch in less than a week. I was very impressed with the build quality and it fit my 2002 Dodge Ram perfectly. The instructions were great. I was most impressed by the wire fish tool that came with the hitch. This screwed onto the end of 2 bolts and allows you to fish the bolts thru the frame and out 2 frame holes. I have installed other hitches that left it up to you to figure out how to accomplish this task on your own. This tool plus the legible instructions really won me over.
Great service! My hitch was hard to find but Etrailer had exactly what my Dodge needed. Very impressed how fast it got to me.

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V Commercial Duty - 2-1/2"
Very nice hitch receiver kit for my 2003 Ram 2500 HD. Very well manufactured and complete hardware kit. Took me almost two hours from start to finish by myself. Hardest part is raising the hitch into place by yourself and the bumper bracket welded nuts that interfere with the rear part of the mounting brackets (shown with white arrows). The installation instructions do mention this issue. To solve, I removed the three bolts each per bracket on each side. Raised receiver up at an angle and attached frontmost hardware loosely. Then jacked the receiver up with floor jack until just touching nuts. I then pried prybars between the bumper bracket and receiver mounting flange until the receiver would clear the nuts and jacked up to frame contact. Removed prybars and installed remaining hardware and shims as required. Fishing wires supplied in hardware kit made the install of the four carriage bolts a breeze. Just awaiting my new hitch now!
The hitch took a few days to ship once it got to the final shipping location the package was damaged and shipped back to etrailer (ups shipment fault not etrailer) without me ever seeing the box. I called etrailer and they shipped a new one out within minutes. Talk about awesome. It arrived in a few days unharmed. As far as installation on my Dodge Ram 3500 dually, it was pretty straight forward. There was one issue. The most forward bolt had to have a rectangle steel piece, that must be fished through the frame rail. This step was a nightmare and I ruined one of my telescoping magnets. Overall great product, heavy and the finish looks great.

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V XD - 2"
I installed this on my 1996 Dodge Ram 3500 dually (club cab, long bed) after my factory hitch started to crack. This is the one you want if your doing heavy loads. Very Heavy duty and much better than the factory hitch receiver. I run a powersport business and always have 12k+ loads on my trucks. Curt is the manufacturer I trust. Installation was pretty easy, the longest part for me was removing the old rusted bolts on my truck. It came with new hardware, which was nice. Overall, I would highly recommend this hitch receiver. Thank you, etrailer for the lighting fast shipping of this product. It's greatly appreciated.
Very strong bilt hitch. Have not had a change to install yet, just received yesterday. Fast shipping.

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V XD - 2"
Hitch arrived in a timely fashion. The box was damaged in shipping which is not unusual for things shipped to Alaska. Product was undamaged and all contents were accounted for. Installation required the removal of some unused camper tie down brackets. It also required the removal of the after market receiver because of clearance issues. If it had been the factory receiver it would have not required removal. Because if clearance issues at the rear of the frame rails the bolt heads would not fit through the openings. It required using a additional piece of wire in conjunction with the one provided to fish the rear most bolts through from the forward openings in the frame rails. After all of the bolts and washers were installed I lassoed the bolts with a piece of safety wire to keep them from inadvertantly being pushed back up into the frame rails during installation of the hitch since I was working alone and using a forklift to position the hitch. I did remove the spare tire prior to starting just to make access to everything easier. Fit and finish of the receiver are good.
This ball mount has served it purpose well. I purchased a new travel trailer that is heavy enough to require a weight distribution hitch when using the factory installed Class III hitch on our Dodge RAM 2500. I decided to upgrade to a Class V hitch combined with this ball mount to take delivery of the TT in order to defer decisions about a WD hitch until the actual load conditions were known. The hour trip home with this setup worked very well. Once the trailer was outfitted I was able to determine the actual tongue weight of the loaded trailer and I decided to purchase an appropriately sized Reese Straight Line WD hitch. However, this ball mount comes in handy for moving the trailer short distances without hassling with the WD system. The purchase experience through etrailer.com was first rate.

Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class IV - 2"
Excellent customer service by Troy H. at etrailer. Installed hitch on 2003 dodge ram 1500 SLT crew cab, 4.7L V8, bed size was 78". Instructions stated no drilling required for my truck, however, I had to drill 4 holes. It wasn't difficult, but, was challenging because I didn't have any help to install. UPS also damaged hitch during delivery, but, I had to move forward with the install.
Looks good not shipped the greatest was wrapped not in box during shipping got wrapping ripped and some of the paint in now missing on hitch had to make sure bolts and nut were still there due to the plastic being ripped

perfect fit super easy install had all necessary fasteners for the job and good instructions. definitely would recommend.
You guy's knocked it out of the park on this one. Arrived in a beat up box due to the weight and shipping, not a problem (no damage and everything was there). I took a short glance at the instruction's ( simple and easy to understand). Grabbed my creeper and floor jack, socket, extension and ratchet. Installed bolts in frame, balanced the hitch on my floor jack and up it went. Bolt's lined up perfect. I'm 67 year's old and I did this by myself in about 15-20 minutes. Fast shipping, excellent quality, easy to install it just dose not get any better. Thank You!

B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2"
I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab, 2WD, 4.7L V8, with the Big Horn Package. This is a good hitch. I didn't need this much of a hitch. I only needed a 600 lb. tongue weight hitch but I figured better safe than sorry. It was the most hitch for the money and now I don't have to change the hitch if I get a bigger camper. I will never need a hitch with this kind of capacity. The install was very easy with one exception... There was no frame drilling required, but there were two steel dowels welded to the frame that supported a tail-pipe hanger and one got in the way and had to be removed. I was hesitant to do this, but the exhaust is still remarkably stable even with one of the supports cut-off. This hitch seems like the most hitch for your money and I know that the hitch will handle more than my truck is rated for so there is no worrying if my hitch will hold up.
I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500. I had one issue while installing...there are two exhaust support bars that welded to the frame and one is in the way of the side plate. I just cut the inside bar and the install was very simple install afterwards. There are no exhaust issues with cutting the one bar. The hitch is a little heavy so if you can get assistance, that will help but not needed.

Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Cast Center - Custom Fit - Class V - 2"
I bought the hitch with the anticipation of buying a boat for the family (working on that now...first step was buying/installing the hitch). My brother and I installed it and like the instructions said, it took about 40 minutes. Fits my truck (2013 Ram 1500) like a glove!! The only reason I rated it 4 stars is that I haven't used it yet.
The hitch is well made serves its purpose well however, intstallation on a 2022 Ram was more than could be performed in the driveway. Insallation was finished on a lift with a 5# hammer.

I had a difficult time finding & choosing a receiver hitch for my older Dodge until I checked etrailer.com. The amount & quality of the information available made it much easier to find an applicable hitch. I was pleasantly surprised with their best price guarantee & at how quick it arrived. There was a little bit of a learning curve with the install kit, but again, the quality information & tip videos on the etrailer site made the job very easy...& as advertised for my hitch...NO DRILLING REQUIRED! I would recommend etrailer.com to anyone needing towing equipment & will use them again myself in the future.
Hitch arrived earlier than expected. Box was beat up and hitch paint marked up. One nut somehow came out of the bag but thankfully did not fall out of the box. Hitch could have been wrapped so shippers couldn’t take away from the factory finish. Beyond that, hitch was easy to install. The wire to fish through to pull the bolts into place was brilliant once I realized you push it through then attach the bolt into it.

I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 w/ Diesel. The hitch fit perfectly and the factory holes lined up. Product was delivered faster than expected and was undamaged.
This 16,000 lb hitch receiver is built with quality. The fit is excellent. The rear section of the hitch receiver is reinforced as it should be. One concern I did have is that the rear reinforced holes are not a full circle. The nut does not have full contact area and the ears could spread during the torquing procedure. I elected to add hardened steel flat washers above the nut on the rear fasteners. These washers will allow for the full clamping force without deflecting the ears. This hitch receiver will be put into use in two days pulling an 11,000 lb trailer (scaled load). I have no concerns with the capability of this hitch receiver. One of the things I like about this hitch receiver is that the maximum tongue weight limit is the same whether weight carrying or using a weight distribution hitch. This is important to me. I highly recommend this hitch as an upgrade.

TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - Dual 2" Receivers
Excellent product i am very happy with it. Installed it myself and it took a few hours. Definitely remove the spare tire its much easier that way. And check for all mounting hardware as i was missing (5) 1/2 inch flat washers. That was an inconvenience but im still very happy with the prodct. Im using this product and the 42 inch supertruss to haul my 23 foot boat behind my lance camper. So far it all works flawlessly and i couldn't be happier with my purchase.
This hitch required no modification on my 02’ Cummins diesel 2500 4wd ram pick up. I just took the old hitch off and bolted the new one on. Perfect fit. My spare tire still stows in the factory position. This is a great hitch. Very heavy duty. I bought it to put the 24” supertruss extension so I could tow my 20’ hewescraft pro v while hauling my 9’-6” camper. It is a very solid and stable set up. I would highly recommend this hitch. I did have to make new camper tie downs to fit the 3” square tube. ( because I was too cheap to buy the ones they sell to fit)

TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2-1/2"
The magnum superhitch works great, reason for installing was to haul my camper and tow my 8.5'×24' enclosed trailer while using a 48" super truss. If your installing the camper tie downs, install them at the same time so you don't have to punch out for bolts on the hitch. Installation was easy, but time consuming when working on it by yourself and trying to install it while parked on the lawn! Install time was about 4 - 6hrs, my kids would come around and distract me!! If you have dual exhaust installed on a 2006 dodge megacab diesel, you will not be able to mount up the spare tire. No biggie for me, I always take down the spare tire and throw it in the trailer when I have the camper mounted on the truck. When I have the camper on I run stock tires, when the camper is off I run a set of 35's.
The Torklift receiver hitch and system for securing a slide in camper is a great product.

B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2"
I decided to try this B&W receiver hitch on my 95 Dodge Ram 2500 after discovering that another well known brand was not going to bolt right on. The B&W had enough distance between the mounting brackets to clear the downward bent lip on the Dodge frame. Installation was straightforward after removing the spare tire and oem Dodge hitch. I assembled everything loosely and set it into position before snugging up the hardware and doing the final torque. The hitch seems well made. The tab for mounting trailer wiring is a nice feature. My only little nit pick is I think some of the frame mount hardware could have been 9/16" instead of 1/2" where it goes through the 1" holes in the frame with the large backing plates. I don't plan on towing more than 10,000 lbs so it will probably be fine.
Product was a easy hook up. Instructions say to assmeble it on the ground and then bolt it up. But if you just have one person put on each of the side plates and then the center section and tighten it down . Still went quickly
