Today we are going to install part number 36320 from Draw-Tite, and we are going to install this Class II receiver hitch on our 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan with the Stow n Go seating. Next we will show you where the hitch installs in the vehicle. Using these two bolts right here, we are going to take these out. The middle one stays in its place. We will reuse these bolts. And behind the spring shackle, it is going to use this bolt here, too. Again, we are going to reuse that bolt on the install. And it is going to be identical on both sides. And this line has a little bit of flexibility so you can actually move it around to get your hitch installed when we get around to that.
All right at this point we can go ahead and install the hitch, and you have to work around the springs, so it is definitely going to take an extra set of hands to do this. At this point, once you get your bolts started, go ahead and snug your bolts down. Once you get your bolts snugged down, make sure that the hitch wraps around this center bolt here and is not sitting on the washer. Once you have that set, you can give your bolts their final torque, as specified in the instructions. All right, with our bolts tightened down, that covers it for our install of part number 36320 from Draw-Tite on our 2007 Dodge Caravan with the Stow n Go seating.

When I first started installing this hitch I thought, wow, this is going to be easy (compared to other hitches I have had to install on other cars). But one hole on one side was off by 1/4". I can't imagine that Chrysler got that off, so I can only assume it was the hitch. I did not want to take it back down and drill, so a crow bar was put into service. Ever try to bend a thick piece of metal? I did get it, and probably only 15 minutes longer than should have... but it was frustrating. What is not frustrating is the ease of buying from etrailer. I did the install by myself in just under an hour. I do have an impact wrench and torque wrench, and I used both. I did not use any kind of lift or jack(s). Did the work in the carport, with my back on the ground. Etrailer shipped the product quickly, and provided timely status updates via email, and who can argue with free shipping on such a large item! Awesomely easy. If all websites sold products that were delivered on time and had detailed video directions there would be no complaints. Etrailer is all that. Install would have been much harder without the videos actually showing the instructions, that alone would be worth extra in the time it saved me installing the hitch. But it was still the lowest price on top of the great service. Will recommend to anyone looling into trailers to buy from etrailer.com9989

Very easy install Extremely satisfied. Installation was very easy. Product arrived very quickly. It is extremely beneficial to spray the existing bolts beforehand with a penetrating fluid such as PB Blaster and then let it work overnight. It made for a much easier removal of the bolts. Also, use a 1/2" socket with an extension instead of a 3/8" socket. This will enable you to get much more leverage when loosening and tightening the bolts. Finish the job with a 1/2" drive torque wrench.2928

Easy Installation Item installed easier than expected. One helpful tip is that I used Car Ramps to raise the rear of my van, this provided the extra room for the installation. I installed it myself, but a second person would be nice to hole hitch in position for the bolt installation. I like the low profile look when installed, draw-tie could easily be stowed with the Jack stowage area. Design does NOT interfere/hit legs when loading van. Great look and finish...2450
