Purchased to replace rusted, bent stock GM hitch. This one was significantly heavier and made of thicker steel, and doesn't have the tube ends open to the element. The stock hitch cross tube ends are open, and a pile of rust fell out upon removal. Installation was straightforward, but be aware that the stock hitch has the wire connector bracket welded to it so you'll need to make other arrangements. Fortunately(!) mine had already rusted off so I was able to transfer it to the new hitch and secure it with hose clamps. 56987
