Excellent product. I rate the overall from ordering, packaging, delivery, and estimate for installation excellent. I installed this product in about 90 minutes but stopped to check the directions several times. If I had to do it again I would do it in less than half that time. Tools: Torque Wrench Short screwdriver to take out the fascia screw in the wheel wells Flash light Hardest part was putting in the U Bolts. Make sure the hitch is tight against the bracket and the holes are lined up well. 7949

Ordered on a Sunday night, was scheduled for shipping Monday Morning before I was awake! Great service etrailer.com! Took about 90 minutes to install, there were a few areas that took some puzzling out that extended it out from the 45 indicated in the product description. 1. Removing the Fascia, undo the screws indicated by the instructions. Right near the exhaust pipe is where the fascia connects to the bumper there is a plastic tab holding it in. Using a screwdriver to depress the tab and simultaneously pulling the fascia, it will come off fairly easily. 2. Since I have parking sensors, the wires and sensors are connected to the fascia. The sensors come out pretty easily, undo the plastic hooks and it should come out. The wires are held in place with plastic clips attached to metal. You have to unclip the plastic from the metal and it should come out. I was able to do it by hand without a screwdriver but my helper used a screw driver to separate it pretty easily. 3. The forward bolt and block is meant to snake through the center. Fish the wire from the bottom center hole and out through the access hole as indicated in the instructions. Insert block into the hole then the bolt. Proceed to fish the bolt to the location. 4. The final ubolts are pretty straight forward as long as there is no separation between the car and hitch. Slide them into both holes and slowly extract and invert through the hole. I pushed the bolt through starting from the bottom since I was paranoid about dropping it into the car frame. Very straight forward, seems more than adequate for hauling bikes as I didn't wire the assembly to the car. I have the same car as Ben F and his review and photos encouraged me to add this to my car. Thanks everyone!17239

I rate this as a one banged up knuckle out of four for installation toughness. Im not the handiest guy around, but after watching the etrailer installation video a couple of times and studying the instructions, I was able to get this done in 90 minutes with no lift or jacks. The trick to not accidentally dropping the u-bolts into the frame while installing them is to put one of the bolts on the end and thread the other end through. No worries. This is a very solid piece and well built. Im only using it for a hitch-mounted bike rack, but I have no worries that I could tow up to the maximum weight my vehicle allows. 88308

hitch came in with some minor scratches, I think UPS did them no favors, as the box was pretty beat up, but all pieces were securely taped and bagged, so everything got here. etrailer.com followed up with a personal note to make sure I received it, and sent some helpful links to videos on installation. Although the instructions were confusing to read, I watched the videos on this site, as well as read some of the feedback, and it went pretty smoothly. Took me about 2 hours, as I was worried about breaking something, but everything fit the way it should, and the hitch looks great - very satisfied, and great customer service. Thanks!!!!. 56415
I installed the hitch this weekend and it was much easier than expected. It did take just over 2 1/2 hours. The hardest part was figuring out how to properly remove the rear bumper of my Audi Q5. Once that was done, you just look at the picture in the included instructions and that is about it. The trickiest part was using the fishwire to thread the part through. Be careful or you will lose the screw and metal brace in the tube near the sway bar. Other than that, it was straight forward.39648

Great product! ETrailer.com staff did an outstanding job organizing the sale and shipment of the trailer hitch - timely, efficient and economical! Although the installation instructions were easy to follow, the installation was tricky and required two people. The product is very good and I would recommend it to others!4618

Had the dealer install but as always, products from eTrailer are what they advertise. Upgraded shipping, so got the next day. Order items frequently and have never been disappointed.121527

The quality of the hitch is excellent. The instructions should be expanded to provide more detail. Despite limited guidance the hitch was easy to install. 60404

WOW!!! Everything fit, all the parts were there and NO drilling! The installation would have been easier had I used a creeper and raised the vehicle higher but it still was a snap. Delivery was sooner than expected, great service. Jon P.44817
