Quick Fist Tie Down Straps - QF30050

  • Tie Down Clamp
  • Trailer
  • 0 - 175 lbs
  • Quick Fist

Durable rubber, jaw-style clamps with adjustable straps help you store and transport fishing rods, small flashlights, and more. They mount horizontally or vertically to your vehicle, trailer, garage wall, or any flat surface. 50 lbs WLL per pair.

Features:

  • Works great on emergency vehicles, work trucks, off-road vehicles, military vehicles, ATVs, and boats
  • Quick and easy installation
    • Mounts with one #10 screw, bolt and washer, or 4 sheet metal screws and washers (sold separately) through the holes on the four corners of the pad
  • Heavy-duty transportation-grade rubber
    • Unaffected by climate
    • UV-resistant
  • Made in the USA

Specs:

  • Holds objects from 5/8" to 1-3/8" (15.748 to 33.02 mm) in diameter
  • Each clamp supports a safe working load of 25 lbs (11 k)
  • Mounting area: 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" (38 mm x 38 mm)
  • Quantity: 2 clamps
  • 1-Year limited warranty

Note: Quick Fist clamps are not to be used on exhaust pipes or any pipe that consistently exceeds a temperature of 180 F (82 C).

A new Quick Fist clamp fresh out of the mold can be stiff. Use two hands to open the jaws vertically and then pull each jaw once or twice. Close the jaws and open and close the strap a couple of times. It's now ready for mounting.

For applications where the Quick Fist clamp will be used at or near its maximum opening dimension, the clamp will not work in your hand, as it must be bolted to a fixed surface for the rubber to stretch properly.

Mount your small tools like fishing rods and AA-battery flashlights with the mini Quick Fist clamp

Mount your small tools like fishing rods and AA-cell flashlights with the mini Quick Fist clamp.

Installation

1. Use either a #10 screw or bolt and washer to fasten. (Alternatively, you may use 4 sheet metal screws and washers through the holes on the four corners of the pad.) Do not over-tighten.

2. Mount with the strap facing in any direction.

3. To clamp: put the tool or implement into the jaws. With both of your thumbs on the strap, push strap to reach the desired tightness. Repeat as necessary.

4. For smaller diameter objects, push jaw without strap inside the other jaw and tighten strap on top of jaw.

The straps after a year are still holding up strong. Being exposed to Maine winters in below 20 degrees haven’t fazed them at all. I even drilled too far when installing these to my toolbox and started to tear one of the straps and the tear hasn’t gotten any worse than that. I completely recommend these straps.

I purchased the Quick Fist clamps to hold a shovel on my snowmobile for riding in the Backcountry. I saw them on etrailer and the price was half as much as anyone else so I ordered 2 sets. I called to confirm some information with Bill and he was excellent. I received my clamps in 5 days including the weekend. The clamps are made well from a solid rubber and the clamp strap over the top is flexible enough to be hooked on the 2nd or 3rd notch down. I mounted them to a 1/4" plate using #10 machine screws with a washer under the head to eliminate the problem of pulling through the rubber and I put lock nuts on the back. These clamps are perfect for my application. I have dealt with etrailer several times and they are excellent folks to deal with and have great products at awesome prices. I will surely give them a call for my next project.

Used the mini clamps to make removable rod holders for my truck. Works great!

by:

These were just what I was looking for --- using them on a t.v. antenna "hack" for my teardrop trailer. I have an expandable painter's pole. Took a12" x12" piece of wood, screwed these clamps on and used bolts/wing nuts on the other side to mount one of those flat antennas. The clamps hold the pole securely but also it's easy to take the pole off. etrailer as always, provided fast shipping.

Still working great very good tie down.

by:

The product is going to work perfectly as a creative solution to a difficult problem. Several other attempts at a solution proved inadequate. The Quick Fist clamps surpassed our highest expectations.

by:

Product arrived on time. Got it installed and so far I am loving it. I could have gone a size smaller but it will do.

by:

Works well, good quality

by:

work great, I use these to hold shovels and a rake to the underside of my horse trailer roof. I mix two sizes. It solves a storage issue I've had for years

by:

Bought these to hold a small shovel and faller's axe in the Jeep. Used a pair of 2.5" U bolts and attached these to the U bot bar. Works great, holds great even off road

by:

etrailer has a lot of useful items that I can’t find elsewhere. Also, they have a very good website that works really well with good descriptions.

by:

These things are sweet! Can be used for many different items. Here I'm using it to secure a GPS rod to a Polaris Ranger 500 (2012) for surveying.

by:

We used these mini-clamps to hold a pole about 1-ΒΌ inch in diameter that hold a 5-way weather station on the travel trailer so we have a bead on the weather when we are camping.
They were easy to install and two of them hold the pole securely. The clamps were mounted on a vertical back side of the trailer so the the pole can be located at least 6 feet off the ground for best results from the weather station.
If you level the trailer, the weather station is pretty level as well and these straps hold the pole in the wind and rain and we are very happy with how they perform.

I haven't had the opportunity to put this product to work yet but have no doubts it will do exactly what it's designed for. These grips are made for small diameter items and I may order some larger ones also. I have some hand trucks I want to secure in transit. These grips were sent promptly. Thank you etrailer!

I installed these in a commercial delivery truck. They worked fine until removed for service work done on the truck overhead door. They were in the way and we never properly reinstalled them. They should have a long service life if installed correctly. I would recommend using a flathead screw or bolt to prevent pull-through.

by:

As always, ordering from etrailer.com is easy and the shipping is quick. I really appreciate their automatic recommendations of products similar to ones I pick, but less expensive, or even better than what I was ordering. These Quick Fist clamp hold a shovel and pick tight to the rack on top of my LandCruiser. And removing the tools is easy.

by:

In preparation for an over-landing trip, I hurriedly ordered two of the quick fist for tool attachment. Unfortunately they were too small to attach a full sized shovel to my roof rack(my original intent). I wound up tying down the shovel with a rope. The quick fist were just large enough to hold a small flashlight within the jeep which is what I re-purposed it for. The delivery of the product was prompt and the apparent quality is good, price point also refreshingly good, and I don't have a flashlight rolling around in the cab anymore. My fault for being in a rush. Suggest adding common tool examples rather than just diameter measurements when describing what it will hold. Thanks.

by:

Just as pictured. Worked well for what I needed them for. Shipped quicker than I expected.

by:

The Mini Clamps were better than expected.

The clamps will be used to hold equipment (Shovel, axe radio masts) to the cargo rack when travelling off-road, saving space inside the vehicle and rack. They make a snug secure fit when tested with the items we anticipate them holding.

What disappointed me was the 1 week delay in acknowledging the order. It was only acknowledged AFTER I called to find out what was going on, but that the money was pulled the day the order was placed.

by:

Purchased these and the larger ones for our volunteer fire department fire and Rescue vehicles to store and organize small handled equipment, working out great, organization is better, and frees up space in the compartments. We'll definitely be buying more in the future for our other vehicles!!

by:

Works great. I screwed it to the side-wall of my horse trailer in the saddle rack area to hold a poop fork in place. It fits a small handle only.

by:

Solved all of our problems with shovels that needed to be mounted to the back of our tractors with easy access. None have broken or have dislodged due to weather. Perfect solution and perfect product.

by:

Package arrived in good shape. No shipping damage. Items were neatly packed in a cardboard box using heavy brown stuffing paper.
Quick service. All parts I needed were in stock and shipped out on the same day they were ordered.
I'm very pleased of the way Etrailer handled my order.

by:

Etralier got these to me really fast. Great service and an easy to order web site. The clamps are the best thing since sliced bread. I am using them on my boat to support a small solar panel for charging my accessories battery while fishing. They are made of rubber and will not corrode.

by: 06/07/2021

Exactly what I needed. Secures my RV water hose end very well, have been using it for almost a year and it has worked flawlessly on almost 10k miles of road trips.
