Now you can use CargoBuckle's G3 ratchets wherever you need them. Instead of fixing the ratchet in one location on a truck or trailer, you can use the ratchets where you need them, when you need them. The included S-hooks bolt to the standard G3 ratchet, creating a standard tie-down strap that features the benefits of the G3 ratchet straps.
CargoBuckle's third-generation tie-down straps bolt to your trailer and simplify the securing and unloading of your cargo. They are designed to keep constant tension on the strap and require minimal ratcheting to secure your load. Dual safety locks keep the ratchet arm in the desired open or closed position, so the ratchet will not accidentally loosen or tighten up. And when unloading, simply push the release button on the ratchet, free the hook from the anchor and let the strap retract back down into the ratchet.
Note: Tie-down straps should always be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The item being tied down must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 1,500 pounds each to tie down a load weighing 3,000 pounds, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure the load. To determine the maximum load, or break strength, of the tie-down strap, simply multiply the WLL by 3. The WLL is always one-third (1/3) of the maximum load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Today we are going to review part number IMF-103745-86. These are the cargo buckle mini, G3 retractable ratcheting tight on straps with the S-Hook adaptors. This is a heavy-duty retractable ratchet strap, which will easily secure your load for towing or hauling. They do have a sure grip rubber coated handle which makes it easy to grip and control with one hand. There is a push button release, which is located right under the handle and when you pull on that it will allow you to move the handle up or down. It also has dual safety locks, which are these two cutouts in here.
What that will do is allow you to once you get done tightening your strap over your cargo you will move the handle into those lock position and on both sides it will lock in this handle and keep it from loosening on your cargo. This also has a vinyl coated steel S-Hook, which will help protect your cargo from any scratches. This does have a corrosion resistance steel body. The webbing is a seat-belt quality polyester webbing and it is all in a sturdy plastic housing and in the ratchet there is a zinc coated steel spring. The dimension on the webbing is one inch in width and six foot in length.
This ratchet strap has a maximum load strength or breaking strength of 1,400 pounds. The safe working load limit on it is 466 pounds, which is normally 1/3 of the maximum load strength. This product does have a one year limited warranty and just to give you an example of how the ratchet would work is if you pull up on the release, move the handle into the up right position that will allow your strap to extend out and it retracts back automatically. If you extend your strap out and hook it to a tied on point and push your release button, move the ratchet into the or the handle into the ratchet position, that will allow you to tighten your strap over your cargo and once you get it all tightened you just pull on that release again. Move your handle into that locking position.
That will keep your strap locked on to your cargo and when its time to remove it, just push the release up, the handle all the way into the upright position, that will allow you to unhook your S-Hook and that will retract back into the housing. This product does come with a one year limited warranty. Also included in this are the two S-Hook adapters, and what that will allow comes with the mounting hardware also. And what that will allow is you can bolt this end to the ratchet and that will give you an S-Hook on this end and an S-Hook on this end and also on the adapter. This S-Hook does have a spring loaded keeper which when you hook that on to your tie down it will the hook from being removed from the tie down.
