This BoatBuckle G2 transom tie-down strap offers excellent protection for your paint finish by keeping the buckle away from the boat. It secures to most trailers, providing the security and ease of use that you expect in a transom strap.

Specs:
Whereas BoatBuckle's first-generation strap has padding under the buckle to help protect the boat, the second-generation strap completely eliminates the possibility that the buckle will even come into contact with the boat. The strap is designed so that the buckle is located close to the hook that attaches to the trailer, giving you peace of mind that the buckle will not scratch or scuff your boat's finish. Another improvement is the rotating hook on the bottom, which makes it even easier to hook the strap to a loop on the boats transom.
Load your boat onto your trailer, open the buckle, and connect the S-hooks at the bottom of the G2 straps to the back end of your trailer's frame. Then connect the S-hooks at the bottom of the straps to the loops on the stern of the boat. Pull the end of each strap through its buckle and turn the buckle down to tighten the strap.
Note: Transom tie-downs should always be used along with a winch strap and a set of gunwale tie-downs. All straps and cables should be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). To determine the maximum load, or break strength, of the strap, simply multiply the WLL by 3. The WLL is always one-third (1/3) of the maximum load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.
