- I walked out to our warehouse and measured the mounting bolts on the 7 Inch Electric Brake Assembly, part # 23-48. From center of bolt to center of bolt, I measured approximately 2-3/4 inches.
The 7 Inch Electric Brake Assembly, part # 23-48, is for 2,000 lb axles. For the left hand brake assembly, you will need part # 23-47.

- Adding a Trailer Brake Controller to a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan
- In order for a trailer brake controller to work you will need to have a 7-Way connector on the vehicle and trailer. It sounds like the Van already has a 4-Way so you will just need a 4 and 7-Way installation kit # ETBC7. This will provide the wiring and another parts needed to install a 7-Way and wire in the brake controller. I have included links that explain the installation.
