Carlisle Trailer Brakes - HBAC10-CLR
The Carlisle Hydrastar XL uses an on-board microprocessor and accelerometer to sense the amount of braking effort being generated by the tow vehicle. It then adjusts its output and pressure to the brakes to provide a smooth, safe stop. The Hydrastar XL does not require a hard-wired in cab electronic brake controller. The hand held communicator simply plugs into the cigarette lighter, using the vehicle's original wiring to transmit signals to the actuator. The Carlisle Hydrastar XL is great for any situation where multiple tow vehicles may be used to pull a single trailer, especially rental units.
