Roadmaster Tow Bars - 1012-1
The XL series hidden brackets attach to the towed vehicle's frame and provide attachment points for tow bars. The visible portions of the brackets can be removed when you are not towing.

The square drawbars, or front arms, on the XL series base plate kit are simple to mount and remove, easily securing with hitch pins. Once the drawbars have been removed, the remaining brackets are virtually invisible. On most vehicles, the brackets are mounted within the grille, where they remain not only unseen, but protected from scrapes and scuffs as well.

- Are Roadmaster Base Plates Compatible with the Curt Adjustable Tow Bar for a 2000 Chevy Tracker
- I spoke with my contact at Curt and she stated that the adjustable tow bar 19745 has brackets on it that are universal. In other words, he could not say if it was a fit with Roadmaster base plates. Also, Roadmaster does not list an adapter for the Curt tow bar. Based on this information I cannot say whether or not the Curt tow bar is compatible with Roadmaster base plates.
What I recommend is to stay with a Roadmaster tow bar or at least a tow bar that Roadmaster does make an adapter for. For
