Secure Towing

Because the Ambassador has fixed, nontelescoping arms, you must be sure that your towed vehicle is in a straight line behind your RV when hooking up. It is also important that you hook up your new tow bar on level terrain so that the Ambassador is parallel with the ground.

Single-Lug Connection

The Blue Ox base plates on your vehicle are equipped with two tabs each that connect to the brackets on the ends of the tow bar arms. These brackets are referred to as "lugs." The Ambassador tow bar features Blue Ox's traditional single-lug brackets for quick and easy hookup. Just insert the lugged end of the tow bar arm into the base plate, between its two tabs. Then insert the 1/2" keeper pin through the lugs and tabs and secure it at the end with the included quick pin.
