The law requires that all towed cars have functional signal and brake lights in sync with the RV towing them. Most wiring kits require you to splice into your vehicle's electrical system, but doing this can void your manufacturer's warranty. Magnetic tow lights avoid this problem by having the wiring run underneath your car and plug into your power source.

First off, what you are going to need is a base plate. Base plates are installed inside the bumper here to the frame of the vehicle. What those do is transmit the towing forces to the tow bar or cross bar. :31

This component is the tow bar itself and the accompanying crossbar. This is the crossbar itself. And this is the tow bar itself. There is a variety of different kinds, there are some that telescope like this ones does or there is ridged style. Finally, there is a hitch on the RV. :40

Your next accessory will be the wiring. Basically there are two different ways of doing it. One, you can hardwire into the vehicle, as what was done on this one, or you can get a temporary light set up where the light attaches to the back of the vehicle via magnets, so you do not have to do any tapping into the electrical system of the vehicle. Those are the three main components you need to pull your vehicle behind a RV.

  • Adapter for a 7-Way Connector on a 2010 Toyota Tacoma and a 4-Way on Magnetic Wiring Harness

  • Can A Magnetic Light Kit be Used at the Same Time as a Tow Dolly Light Kit
  • As long as the power draw from the lights on the tow dolly and the magnetic lights does not exceed the amperage rating of the tow package wiring on the RV then you can just tap the magnetic kit into the tow dolly wiring harness. What I recommend is to tap into the tow bar wiring using the short wiring harness in # RM-2120 that you referenced. That way when it is not needed you can just put the cap on it and secure it to the tow dolly or RV. But you must make sure that the combined power draw
