If you need extra storage without the look of an over-the-rail, crossover toolbox, the chest style is a perfect solution. Much like standard toolboxes, the chest will sit flush against the front of the truck bed; the wedge shape allows it to fit around the wheel well, freeing up more space in the truck bed. As two super-duty lift cylinders raise and lower the lid, an offset hinge allows the insulated beveled lid to open up to 90 degrees without coming into contact with the cab.

• Mounting UWS Wedge Series Toolbox in Truck Bed
  
• Most UWS Tool Boxes typically mount using J hooks. The box is placed into position, and a hole is drilled in the box for the J bolt to pass through. The hook would grab the underside of the bed rail, which would eliminate the need for drilling into the truck. Since this box is not the type that sits across the top of the bed rails, using a J hook would not be an option. Your best bet would be to bolt it down to the bed through the floor of the box.
