Note: The overall capacity of this tire-and-wheel assembly is limited to the lowest rated component. Do not fill your tire to a pressure greater than that indicated on the tire itself or on the wheel that it is mounted to.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Today we're going to review part number AM30153. This is the Kenda 5.70-8 Bias Trailer Tire mounted on an 8" Dexstar white spoke wheel. First, we'll do the wheel dimensions. It is an 8" diameter wheel, which would measure inside-to-inside, which is 8". It is a 3-3/4" wide wheel. The bolt pattern on this wheel will be 4 bolts 4" bolt pattern.
Bolt pattern will be measured from the center of 1 lug hole to the center of the other lug hole directly opposite of it. So if we measure this one center-to-center it would be 4". The weight capacity on this wheel is 910 pounds. It uses a wheel bolt size of 1/2"-20. Another critical measurement is the hub pilot diameter, which is the center hole.
This goes over the hub on your trailer. If we measure the diameter on that, it would be 2.5". This wheel is a white powder coated finish. Now, we'll move on to the tire. The tire is a Loadstar, size 5.70-8.
This is a load range D tire, which is an 8 ply rating. The maximum load carrying capacity on this tire is 1,075 pounds at 100 psi. This tire is a bias tire, which means the belts when this tire is built run the length of the tire. One more measurement we're going to do is the overall diameter. We measure all the way across would be 18".
This tire/wheel combo comes with a limited 2-year warranty. That should do it for part number AM301530.

Local tire store said $71 for a new load range C tire. This cost me about the same for Load range D, INCLUDING THE WHEEL and it was all done, just bolt it on, which leaves me one of my other wheels for a spare. Good deal!57943
