Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Today were going to review part # AM30080. This is a Kenda 570x8 Bias Trailer Tire mounted on an 8-inch Deckstar white spoke wheel. This reel has a white powder coat finished. A few dimensions on the wheel will be the diameter of the wheel which is 8 inches which would be measured inside to inside. The width of this wheel is 3in3 quarters of an inch wide. This wheel has a bolt pattern of 4 lugs 4-inch full pattern.
The way we measure the bolt pattern is from the center one lug hole directly across to the center of the other lug hole. So we put the rear on it would be 4 inches so that 4 on 4-inch full pattern. This wheel has a weight capacity of 910 pounds. This wheel uses a wheel bolt size of a 1/2inchx20. Another critical measurement is the center of the pilot hole diameter which is the large center hole on the wheel this is what will go over the hub on your trailer on the measure diameter of that is 2 and a half inches.
Now we move on to the tire. Tire is a loadstar, size 570x8 this is Low Range B tire which means it has a 4-ply rating has a maximum load carrying capacity of 715 pounds at 50psi. The overall diameter on this tire will be 18 inches. This tire is a bias construction which will mean the belts run the length of the tire. This tire wheel combo will come with a limited 2-year warranty.
