Thule's innovative design makes the CS10 snow chains quick and easy to attach and remove. Once the chain is looped around the tire and the three color-coded connections are made, the patented self-centering, automatic-tensioning system takes over, creating a perfect fit as you drive away. You only need to get out of the car once. To remove the chains, simply pull the external quick-release lever and unwrap the chains from around each tire.
Thule snow chains are handmade in Italy of hardened manganese nickel alloy steel for ultimate durability. The dual-sided, 10-mm-diameter, D-shaped links provide superior traction for excellent grip on snow and ice. For even more traction, specially designed steel bars are integrated into the chains help to break up any ice beneath your tires. And anti-scratch nylon bumpers protect your vehicle's wheel rims.
Included with each pair of chains are mounting instructions, a kneeling mat and a pair of gloves, all packaged in a sturdy, reusable container.

To choose the right snow chains, you must match your tire size. Those measurements can be found on the side of your tire, as shown below.

Today on our 2013 Dodge Avenger well be test fitting the Thule Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains for passenger vehicles, part number th00204104. Now well be test fitting these tire chains on tire size 225/50-18. Now this vehicle is front wheel drive so we will be installing the tire chains on the front set of tires. Now to begin our test fit well simply lay the chains flat out on the ground to undo any kinks or tangles. This will ensure that the tire chains will fit correctly around the tire. Now starting with the yellow end of the cable, well slide it back behind the tire and bring it up at the twelve oclock position and hook the two ends together.
Well then drape the tire chain over the tire making sure that it is centered onto the tire. Notice that the hooks are facing out so that we dont damage the outer wall of the tire. Well then connect the red hook and link and finish draping the tire chain over the tire. Now, at the six oclock position well insert the gray cable into the chain tensioning device and pull down the bungee with the red hook and connect them together. Now you may want to drive a little bit and get out and check the tire chains to make sure they are still centered onto the tire.
Now one great feature of the Thule Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains is its ability to be quickly removed from the tire. At the twelve oclock position well simply pull down on this little red block and the tire chain will simply fall off the tire. And that completes todays test fit of the Thule Self-Tensioning Snow Tires Chains for passenger vehicles, part number th00204104 on our 2013 Dodge Avenger.
