Today on our 2013 Kia Sorrento well be test fitting the Glacier cable snow tire chains for light trucks, part number PW202C. This vehicle is primary front wheel drive so well be putting the tire chains on the front tires and well be putting them on 235/65/17 tires. Now before we began our test fit well first need to lay the chains out flat on the ground to undo any kinks or tangles. We will then drape the tire chains over the tire noticing that the hooks are facing out of the tire so that they do not damage the tire. Also notice the yellow triangular flag which indicates what side of the vehicle the tire chain should be on and in which direction the tire should rotate. This is extremely important to follow as the tire chains will not operate correctly if on the wrong side of the vehicle.
Once the tire chains are draped over the tire and the hooks are facing out well go ahead to the inside side of the tire and connect the male of the tire chain to the female of the tire chain and securing the access cable with the red hook. Well then move to the outside of the tire and again insert the male end of the cable into the female end of the tire chain and then secure it down with the chain tensioner. Youre going to need to drive a little bit to make sure the tire chains are center on the tire and to make sure theres no slack that needs to be tightened up. That completes todays test fit of the Glacier cable snow tire chains for light trucks, part number PW2029C, on our 2013 Kia Sorrento.

Hi, Nice quality of tire chain which fits different sizes and nicely fits my Hyundai Santa Fe SE tream 18 inch tires. Installation is easy with available tension system which allows you to make a tension of chain without any extra tools. Nice looking and does not touch the rims. Highly recommended.61242

It arrived right on time at my doorstep. I have not been able to try them out yet. I hope I will never do need them, CHP requires 4x4 to carry a set of chains. This will fulfill that requirement. 60566

These were a bit more expensive, but they were the only ones I found to fit my tire size. When they arrived, the chains were of a higher grade than those I've used before. They also had a nice mechanism for clinching them closed which is better than other chains I've used.27970
