Michelin's Easy Grip composite snow chains assist you while you're driving on snowy and icy roads by providing extra traction for your tires. Made of durable, poly-coated aramid fibers, the mesh gives your tires grip on snow, and the galvanized steel cleats dig into ice. The Easy Grip's lightweight construction and low-profile design make them easy to handle, and their composite construction produces less vibration and noise than metal chains, making for a smoother, quieter ride.

To choose the right snow chains, you must match your tire size. Those measurements can be found on the side of your tire, as shown below.

Today we're going to install and review a set of Michelin Composites Snow Tire Chains. Traditional metal chains can be heavy and expensive but you see composite chains are relatively light and fairly inexpensive. They are perfect to have in the vehicle in case your car is in an emergency snow storm. The composite chains simply stretch over your tire and use elastic bag to hold tight. To install the chains first stretch them over as much on the tire as possible. The red strife will fit on the face of the wheel and help you make sure that the chains are centered properly.
The center cup should be about dead center on your wheel when we're finished installing. Once we've stretched over as much on the tire as we can we'll go ahead and pull the vehicle and make sure that our wheel rotates one-half of a turn. We'll repeat the same procedure for the other side. You may have to move the car back and forth a couple of times to help center up the chains. Now that we have the chains installed, we're ready to test them out.
The Michelin Composite Snow Tire Chains are a great item to keep in your vehicle. That way if you do get caught by surprise snow storm you won't end up stuck.
