The Thule Force Large cargo box is a great way to carry anything from groceries and gardening equipment to small duffel bags and carry-on luggage for 2 - 3 people on your roof rack crossbars. The box provides enclosed storage for your gear on weekend getaways or when transporting everyday items.
Mounting the Force Large is a 5-minute operation thanks to the pre-installed Quick-Grip hardware. Just throw the box on your roof, center the clamps over your crossbars, and turn the hand knobs located inside the box to tighten them down.
These hand knobs are mounted in tracks so that they can be repositioned for vehicles with shorter roofs. Simply slide the hand knobs to the desired position and give them a spin.
The Quick-Grip assemblies also include anchor points for securing your cargo. Just loop the included cargo straps through the anchor points and pull the straps tight to secure your gear.
The Force Large has a low profile and an aerodynamic shape that helps to reduce drag and wind noise when the box is mounted on your roof rack.
The Force Large features a dual-side-opening lid so you can access and load your gear from either side of your vehicle. And 2 built-in straps make it easy to lift and close the lid.
The cargo box has oversize SecureLocks on each side. These specially designed locks prevent you from removing the keys if the box is not properly closed and locked. This eliminates the possibility of the box coming open as you travel down the road. And the locks include Thule One-Key-System cores so you can swap them out to make all your Thule accessories keyed alike.

This cargo box is a great way to carry anything from groceries and gardening tools to small duffle bags and carry-on luggage for two to three people. The clamps and hand knobs are mounted in track so that they can easily be repositioned for vehicles with shorter roofs. The preinstall quick grip mounting clamps allow for simple five minute installation onto your rooftop crossbars. The box has an extremely low profile and an aerodynamic shape that helps to reduce drag and wind noise when your vehicles in motion. It features a double sided opening lid, so you can safely load your gear from the passengers as well as the drivers side of your vehicle.
It includes a built-in strap on both sides thatll make it easy to open and close the lid. The cargo box also has an oversize secure lock on both sides. These specially designed locks prevent you from removing the key if the box is not properly closed and locked to eliminate the possibility of the box coming open as you travel down the road. The locks include a Thule one-key system core so you can swap them out to make all your Thule accessories key alike. There are two load straps included with this cargo box that connect to the built-in anchor points on the quick grip hardware to secure your gear in the box.
