The Thule Boxter cargo box provides a secure and stylish way to carry your cargo. With an 18-cubic-foot carrying capacity, this box can hold 6 to 8 pairs of skis, 4 to 6 snowboards, or as much gear as you can toss in. And loading your gear has never been easier. The dual-side-opening lid lets you get into the box from either side of your vehicle for ultimate convenience.
The Power-Click mounting system allows for quick, simple and secure installation on your roof-rack crossbars. Just place the clamping mechanism around the crossbar and tighten the jaws into place by twisting the knob. Each knob has a built-in torque indicator to ensure proper mounting. Once the clamp is tight enough, the indicator clicks to let you know that your box is securely mounted. In addition to making the Boxter easy to install, the Power-Click system takes up less space inside of your cargo box than other mounting systems, leaving more room for your gear.
The Boxter can be installed on most round, square, aero/elliptical and factory roof-rack crossbars, including Thule's AeroBlade load bars, for a nearly universal system.
Thanks to Thule's One-Key System, your stowed gear will be safe and secure inside of the box. These lock cylinders are keyed alike so that you need to keep track of only one key. If you want, you can even change out the lock cylinders to match those in your other Thule accessories.

Today we are going to review the Thule Boxter Premium Roof Rack cargo box part number TH611. The Boxter has a reenforced lid with a great looking high gloss two tone finish. The box is designed to fit Thule square load bars, round bars, and most OEM roof styled bars. The lid stiffeners and struts make opening and closing the lid easy. The dual side opening hinge allows you to open the lid from the passenger or driver side of the vehicle. :27
The Boxter is lightweight and has a very aerodynamic design that will help reduce wind noise and increase gas mileage. The integrated quick grip system allows you to easily attach the box to your crossbars without having to use any tools or u-bolts. The Boxter features a built in secure lock, one on either side of the box. The lock cylinders feature a safety mechanism that will only allow the key to be removed once the box it properly locked. This will prevent accidentally locking the keys inside the box. :53
The Boxter includes a custom fit light cover that protects the finish of the box while in storage. The Thule Boxter is made in the USA and features a lifetime warranty. To make sure the Boxter will fit your vehicle you should measure the spread of the crossbars. The Boxter requires a minimum of 20-5/8 inches to a maximum of 36-3/4 inches from the center of the front cross bar to the center of the rear cross bar. On the side of the box is where you are going to find your lock. Again, if the box is locked you can remove your key, but if it is unlocked you cannot pull the key out. To secure the box to the crossbars we are going to open it up and operate the clamps from inside the box. To adjust the clamps, take the turn knob and open it up. Lift the box above the crossbar and slide the clamp over the crossbar. Set it back down, and tighten the knob to close the clamp. Repeat the same process for the other clamps. 1:58
On the edge of the box, above the lock on either side is a handle which makes a convenient place for you to grab the box to open it. Inside the box, you will find the dual hinge that can be opened from either side. There is also a sturdy pull handle on either side, so you can get a good hold of the lid when you pull it down to close it. Inside the box are three sets of tie down anchors that you can use the included strap with to tie your cargo down inside the box. there you have it for the Thule Boxter part number TH611.
