- The Rhino-Rack Steel Mesh Roof Mounted Cargo Tray # RPBS-U you referenced does come with a universal U bolt that will allow you to fit this product to your Thule crossbar. The cargo tray will fit on a crossbar up to 3-7/8 inches in diameter and the crossbars must be a minimum of 40 inches long and a maximum spread of 45 inches.
The weight of # RPBS-U is 26 lbs and height/tube diameter of the item is approximately 2 inches. I called my contact at Rhino Rack to verify these measurements.

- You should have no problem installing the Rhino-Rack Steel Mesh, Roof Mounted Cargo Tray # RPBS-U on your Thule square cross bars that have a Thule 38 inch Fairing # TH871XT installed on them.
The fairing should not give the rack an uneven look as the clips of the fairing are pretty thick.
However, what you could do is install a couple Replacement Load Bar Clip for Thule Roof Rack Fairings # 8537361 on the rear cross bar as well so that the # RPBS-U would sit as level as possible on your r
