Enjoy the versatility of a wheel mount without breaking the bank by opting for the Yakima Raptor. This roof-mounted bike carrier promotes a wide range of fits, installs easily and works with most crossbar systems (with MightyMounts) - all for a price well below comparable wheel mounts.

The wheel-mount design of the Raptor allows you to load your bike in seconds without removing the front tire, saving time and hassle when compared with fork-mount carriers.

Raptor features an adjustable, vertical arm that cradles your bike's downtube. The jaws positioned at the end of the arm adjust with the turn of an SKS-lockable knob to secure the bike to the carrier. The Raptor fits most bikes with downtubes from 1" to 3". Carrier accepts bikes with non-round downtubes, provided that they are no larger than 3" in any direction.

The Raptor wheel trays accept most tires 20" and larger, holding them in place with ratcheting straps. The wheel straps also slide along the tray to accommodate bikes of varying lengths.

The wheel tray can be locked to your crossbars by replacing the hand knobs (hex keys) on the bottom of the mounting brackets with up to three Yakima Accessory Lock Housings (Y07220), which require the purchase of additional SKS Cores.

The carrier installs without tools and mounts on round or square roof-rack crossbars. Raptor can also be adapted to work on factory crossbars when used with Yakima MightyMounts (sold separately).
Raptor installs with no tools and folds flat against roof rack when not in use, reducing wind resistance.

- Will Yakima Viper Roof Mounted Bike Rack # Y02085 Fit on 2007 Honda CR-V Factory Roof Bars
- I checked into Yakima's fit information for your 2007 Honda CR-V, and it does look like they recommend using Universal MightyMounts # Y03590 to adapt many of their carriers to your factory roof bars.
Unfortunately, the MightyMounts are not compatible with the Viper Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, as this model can only be used with Thule or Yakima brand round and square cross bars. The Yakima Raptor bike rack, # Y02093, is compatible with the MightyMounts, and holds any bike tire 20 inches and la

- Will the Yakima Raptor Roof Mount Bike Rack Fit on Thule Square Crossbars on a 2012 Mazda 5
- Yakima lists the Raptor Roof Mount Bike Rack, # Y02085, as fitting round (Yakima) crossbars, and square bars. Thule does use square bars in their basic roof rack systems. But they also have used Rapid Aero bars and the new AeroBlade bars which are more elliptical. Since you mention having the square bars, the Raptor should fit without any additional parts.
If you wanted to be absolutely certain it will fit on the square bars or on a vehicle with elliptical bars, you can add a set of Universal

- Roof Rack Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2007 Hyundai Tucson
- For your 2007 Hyundai you will need to take some measurements to determine if the back hatch can be opened with a bike rack attached.
If you have factory cross bars then you will need to move the cross bar as far forward as possible on the side rails and then measure from the center of the crossbar back to the point that will clear the rear hatch when opened.
If you need cross bars for the raised rails you can use the Yakima RailGrab Towers, # Y00138, and the Round 58 inch CrossBars, # Y00
