Works great, if only there was a way to do 4 bikes instead of 2. But we just put the other two on the floor in the trailer with blankets between and wrapped around. We found the hitch racks just are too bouncy on the back of a trailer44033

It fits well on my View, in spite of the fact that the bottom half of my ladder folds up in front of the fixed upper part. My wife's bike frame is smallish, and the seat downtube is too short for the spacing of the rack, but I offset it (toward the seat) and it works fine. Since I'm carrying two mountain bikes, I had to remove the front wheels to keep the handlebars from hitting the camper. Oh, and although the instructions don't mention it, you have to put the two bikes facing in opposite directions. Now I need to rig some sort of spacer to keep the hanging bikes fromswinging fore and aft. Very happy, all in all.29445

The product ordered shipped within 24 hours and arrived in a timely fashion. The product arrived in excellent condition and was very easy to assembly. 6 screws with a provided Allen key and you were done. The product easily attached to my RV ladder as advertised. Although assembly was obvious to me, I did note was the instructions were not provided in English. This is the first time I have ever experienced the lack of English instructions when they were provided in other languages. 21713

There are many options available for transporting a pair of bikes. After researching the products I decided this particular RV Ladder Rack would be best for my bikes and Motorhome. It was also, one of the best priced options. The cushion pads are necessary to protect my exisiting rear mounted RV ladder. The sturdy rubber brackets for the bike frame are necessary to secure the bikes. Other similar products are lacking these two features. Unfortunately, the bikes must be mounted in a vertical position. On both mountain bikes, 21 speed, the gear components interfered with securing the frame to the attached brackets. It is difficult to lift the bike and get the bike's cross frame on the brackets. To prevent potential damage to the Motorhome I found it necessary to remove the bike's front tire in order to secure the handle bar so it would not bang into the Motorhome's right tail light. Bottomline, I'm only able to mount one of the two 21 speed bikes on this rack. It is just as practical to place the bike inside my towed vehicle. Using only the components that came with the rack, the bike was secured on the rack and does not come loose while driving. The manufacturer did not put much quality into the straps. The ends became fray after the first attempt to pass the webbing through the undersized buckle. It takes a pair of needle nose pliers to pass the webbing through the buckle slot. I'm not able to read or speak french so the instructions that came in the package were of no use for me. I used the etrailer online instructions to asemble the rack. 21243

The item is very well made and was very easy to put together. We had purchased new bike's that had shocks for the seats unfortunately the shocks interfered with mounting the bike's, we just could not make it work, however we returned the bikes and plan to purchase new one's that will fit because we feel the quality and value of this rack is worths the change. 58198

These are very solid, well built carriers. I have some very heavy duty (actually army surplus) bikes that I could only get one bike on - but for the most part I could get two bicycles on fairly easily. I actually bought five of these to mount inside a covered trailer - so now all of my kids bikes (all six) have a cosy loft to ride upon, along with my wife's bike an my bike. I would definitely recommend to a friend, etc. I think I own more of these than any other consumer! 55330

Poorly designed -- the rack is not stable on the ladder and tends to be susceptible to canting to one side or the other. Additionally, the rubber mounts for securing the bikes are simply not up to the task. I couldn't find a safe way to use this even by using additional cam straps. The rack was returned.50953
HiI agree that this is a well designed and simple product to use. My only complaint is that the rubber securing straps are not robust enough, 2 out of the 4 broke on my rack withing weeks. There isnt a spot on the web site that I can see to order some spares.The rack still works fine with the bikes secured using other straps.
