This carrier's steel construction provides lasting toughness and carries up to three bikes. Cushioned cradles on the arm rotate to keep wheels level to the ground, providing improved ground clearance. Additionally, the cradles help provide a scratch-free ride for bikes by using thick kraton vinyl cushioning with large grooves, which prevent bike cables from rubbing on the frame. They also work to prevent bikes from rocking back and forth during transit. The cradles accommodate bikes with up to a 2" diameter frame, and the locking knob allows for a secure and quick unload.

Today well be demonstrating the Swagman XP three bike carrier for two inch hitches, part number S64910-2. This carriers steel construction provides lasting toughness and carries up to three bikes. The cushioned cradles on the arm rotate to keep wheels level to the ground, providing improved ground clearance. Additionally, the cradles provide a scratch-free ride for your bikes by using thick Kreton vinyl cushioning with large grooves. The cradles will rotate left to right to accommodate many alternative and womens frames, and the locking knob allows for a secure bike while still making it a quick unload. Weve already gone ahead and preassembled our bike rack, so were ready to fit it to our vehicle.
Well simply slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and using the included anti-rattle bolt well thread it in and tighten it down with our wrench. Well then put the clip on the other side, securing our bike rack to the vehicle. Well move up the bike racks mast to the cradles here. Now its always a good idea to transport your bikes using the cradles closest to the vehicle and then working your way out. Product ordered easily online, confirmation of order and expedited delivery at no charge to us was just wonderful. We were able to install the bike rack on the back of the RV with no problem. Bike with the bar fit very nice. We liked the ability in the tilt of the bike and the obvious great quality of the unit . We have not travelled yet so we can keep you posted. We have not got to use this bike rack yet. We fitted it to our Rav 4 and are very happy with the tight fit. The rack is very well built and sturdy. Passes the spare tire on the back of the Rav with plenty of room to spare. Also it appears to have plenty of clearance at the bottom of the rack. Our last rack fit loosly in the receiver and the bike moved quite a bit. Hopefully this one will reduce the bike movement. Also it does not tell you on the site that we could find but this rack may be used for 1, 2 or 3 bikes. 52298

Just received the bike rack and put it together. It was an easy assembly, but had trouble getting the rubber liners back into the pin slots after bolting the carrier to the rack arm. Other than that, no issues. Appears to be well built and sturdy. Had read reviews about other racks and fabication issues and such, but really thought this was a well fabiricated product and had no assembly issues except the rubber liner clips. No complaints at this point. Appears to be a good product.47649

This product is really well made from heavy gauge tubing. Very easy to put togeather, 4 bolts and clamp placement your ready to go. I will say i don't think its for soft tail bikes. I would like to add the service I got from etrailer.com was top notch. Was kept informed every step of the way. I give both product and etrailer 2 thumbs up.47545

Product was shipped to the house in a timely manor and in great shape. Product was undamaged and is well built. It was easy to assemble and all parts were package very well. It will be mounted on front hitch by Draw-Tite. The bike rack also came with a screw-type hitch pin so the rack will not rattle. The product looks top notch for the money... very happy with purchase..31323

This Bike Carrier is exactly as advertised, although my wife's bike has an extreme alternative frame we were able to carry her bike along with mine with no trouble. All you need to assemble is a 9/16 and a 7/8 socket and ratchet and pliers. Excellent carrying ability @ highway speeds. The 2" hitch set up makes for a snug fit with no wobble when attached to vehicle.31040

Have only used it to secure 2 bikes so far but it has performed as advertised on our RV. I have the 2" hitch & considered the anti-rattle attachment but after reading reviews on that piece of equipment (doesn't eliminate up & down movement) decided against it. Tightened per instructions & had no side-to-side movement; slight up & down doesn't worry me as the unit appears to be very structurally sound. Still wish there was a unit appropriate for an RV that could rotate or sway to allow access to rear compartment.19134

This bike rack was not what I expected. It took alot of time to figure out how to make my three bikes fit and the instructions sent with the product were very poor and missing important information. I would not recommend this product to anyone I know.13867

It's a sturdy product, but if you bike with a lot of women, like I do, I would not recommend it. I could only get one woman's bike on the rack, because it won't go past the back wall of the first tray. If a woman's bike has a water bottle holder on the frame, its even less likely to fit. I suppose an adapter bar would fix this problem, but if you're going to get adapters anyway, you might as well start off with a cheaper rack.35762
