Today in this 2013 GMC Yukon XL were going to install part number HL57781 from Husky Liners. These are custom molded mudguards. The first thing that you do to make things easier is you go ahead and remove the rear wheel. Then well go ahead and clean out the pain behind the rear wheel to make sure everything is nice and clean because we do have to install a protective decal well use some soapy water and then well go ahead some rubbing alcohol to help clean off any residue left over. Before we start any work well go and take a mudguard, hold it up to the fender and see how it first. Well make a small mark at the top so we know where to align our decal with.
It looks bright when you attach your decal well go ahead and flatten it out. Well take the decal well go ahead and put it into place. Use a squeegee to help remove any excess water and so it will set. There are two existing fasteners that we have to remove, a plastic rivet and a screw. After those pieces are removed, well go ahead and put the mud flap in place and well attached it with the factory screw.
Well install our next fastener in an existing hole from the previous plastic rivet, well take a screw and flat washer, run it through the existing hole and well put the U clip on the other side and go ahead and tighten it down. Theres two remaining holes in the mudguard, well draw out the holes with one eighth inch drill bit and install the same hardware. If all the fastener is tightened down that will finish it for our passenger side of the vehicle now go and repeat the same process over the drivers side. After the mudguard is installed we go and reinstall the back wheel. With that thatll finish it for install part number HL57781 from Husky Liner on a 2013 GMC Yukon XL..
