Today on 2013 GMC Yukon, were going to install part number HL56731 from Husky Liner. This is a custom molded mud flaps. To make things easier to install were actually going to remove the front wheel. Before we start any work well go and take a mudguard, hold it up to the fender and see how it fits, well make a small mark at the top so we know where to align our decal with. Once weve done that well go ahead and clean off the body work around the fender wheel. We need to clean this up because therell be a protective decal that we have to attach.
Once we have it clean well go ahead and spray some solution on the decal and slide it into place. We also use a squeegee to help runoff the excess soap solution. Next we go ahead and remove the original fasteners in the fender wheel. There will be two screws at the top, and two plastic rivets at the bottom. Well replace the hardware in two lower holes with these two U-clips.
Now slip over the sheet metal then we can ahead into installing our mudguard. Were using existing fasteners for the top two holes, then were using new fasteners for the remaining two holes in the bottom. Okay with that, that will finish it for install part number HL56731 on a 2013 GMC Yukon XL.
