Today on our 2013 Dodge Ram Pickup well be installing the Husky Custom Molded Mud Flaps for the rear wheels, part number HL57151. For this application, there is a large molding that runs along the rear wheel well and fender that will need to be removed first. Then were ready to install our Husky Custom Molded Mud Flaps. For this application, its quite dirty so well need to clean it first using a soap and water solution and a wet rag well go ahead and thoroughly clean it and wait for it to dry. Then well take our mud flap and fit it into place using a pencil to mark the top edge. Next, well need to apply the applicator solution so that we can adhere the clear paint protective adhesive.
Once we get it in position, we use a squeegee to push out any moisture from underneath. Well go ahead and wait for that to dry and set up and then were ready to install the mud flap. Well set the mud flap into position and using the manufactures hardware for the inter fender well well go ahead and attach for position 1 and 2. The third position will be using the screw and flat washer provided, going through the mud flap, going to the two layers of inter fender well for this application and then installing the clip on the backside. Now we can go ahead and fully tighten it down and that will secure the mud flap here on the drivers side.
Now go ahead and repeat the same process on the passengers side. And with both sides installed, that completes the installation of our Husky Custom Molded Mud Flaps, part number HL57151 on our 2013 Dodge Ram Pickup.
