Today were going to review part number KS3891 from K-source. This is a universal clip-on mirror. Two things to know about this mirror is that its designed for universal fit and has a ratchet lock system. This clip-on mirror is designed to fit a variety of different shapes and sizes of mirrors. A couple of measurements are 7 inches high by 5 1/8 inches wide. Now were going to try it on our vehicle here.
You notice we can take the arm and rotate it any way we need to accommodate different shapes of mirrors. Now on the mirror here you see theres small tabs that catch onto the edge of the factory mirror on the vehicle. These move up and down theyll tighten up once the straps are tightened down. You want to make sure they fit in securely and we had the mirror as close to the vehicle as possible. We want to make sure it does not interfere with the factory mirror.
Before we install our straps well go ahead and show how they work. There are three parts to it, one is the cover that will open up and then the next thing is a small button in the center that we push down. We use that to release the strap and then theres a bar for the ratcheting itself. To start off our install of the straps well go ahead and hook them onto the bottom mirror. Theres a small tab with a hole in it that the hook will go into.
Well line it up and pull it forward and it will latch together. Well extend our strap I f we have to on top and do the same thing for running it over the top of the mirror into this tab there as well. We have two straps so well go and repeat the same process on the other one. Since our mirrors curved well take our straps and position them as far apart as possible. Then well take the ratcheting and just tighten them down.
Well make sure our excess strap will go into the holder underneath and well tighten them down evenly on both sides. Thats it to install the mirror. A new clip-on mirror can rotate up and down, left and right or any angle in-between. Thatll finish it for our review of part number KS3891, from K-Source, the universal clip-on extra-large towing mirror.

These DO NOT FIT my Honda Odyssey mirrors - it seems that my mirrors are aerodynamically angled and these mirrors are meant ONLY for mirrors that are square/flat on the back. The mirrors seem to be made of quality material, well manufactured and would probably last a long time. The new ratcheting system is easy to use and appears to be well designed. I would recommend these highly and would have rated them excellent if only they would fit. Buy these ONLY if you mirrors are not like mine.35181

I ordered one mirror to see how it worked before ordering two. I was pleased with the construction and it mounted well on my 2006 4Runner. I drove around a bit to test for vibration or loosening, but found neither. I ordered a second mirror immediately. No real towing yet, but I like the product a lot.68931

The mirrors were easy to install. The order was recieved really quick. The ratchets make it easy to remove when not in use.Used them already to take my travel trailer out. The only thing I do not agree with is that the image in the mirror seem far away. would still recommend.80329

The quality of these mirrors are very good, The attachment straps are sturdy and well designed. I have not used these yet for towing but feel they will greatly improve rear vision. These were installed on a 2008 Nissan Titan, Outstanding fit. Great web site and fast delivery. I would not hesitate to reccomend.80000

These mirrors fit adequately on our 2013 Audi Q7; the mirrors on that vehicle are extremely aerodynamic so I added a rubber band to the inside strap (around the inner side of the Audi mirror) to ensure it would not slip off. There were absolutely no marks left on the car mirrors after a very bumpy and windy drive of 1083 miles.73895
