I installed it in about a minute on a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500. Works great and would recommend this product. There is no way to pull it off once it's locked in, you would have to take the access cover off the tailgate. The only thing you have to do after you install it is to take a flat head screwdriver to pick up the lock a little bit to get the tape off. I would recommend tweezers to peal it off. 63560
