Today we are going to show you Master Locks hitch receiver and coupler latch lock set, part number 1481DAT. The hitch lock is designed to be used with 2 inch by 2 inch trailer hitches. It has a pin diameter of 5/8 inches and a pin length or span of 2-3/4 inches. The coupler latch lock has a pin diameter of 1/4 inches. These locks are made from stainless steel and are covered by a limited lifetime warranty. The hitch lock uses a swivel head to make access to the lock easy, especially if your vehicle has an OEM hitch that is integrated in to the bumper. The coupler lock has notches along the lock to help it fit different size couple latches. Included with the locks are a pair of keys that are key matched for the hitch lock and the coupler lock. 1:03

The lock takes a partial turn and it slips off. You know that you have the lock seated properly when you go to put it back on because it will make a click that you can hear and feel. For the coupler lock, you will insert the key, rotate it 180 degrees and you can slide the lock off of the pin. You will insert the pin into your coupler latch, slide the lock into position and then turn the key back.
