Today were going to review part number BLTL-33. This is the Blaylock EZ Lock Trailer Coupler Lock. This coupler lock is designed to prevent theft of your trailer. It has a simple installation. Basically this bracket will secure around your trailers coupler with the raised ball on the platform, sitting inside the coupler then you just slide this pin over the coupler itself. Then you would lock it into place and that would prevent anybody from hooking up to their hitch ball and taking your trailer.

The steel pin right here is a 3/4-inch steel pin which will slide through the bracket and then over the coupler. The way you lock it on is you would use a padlock design. I have an example here, these are sold separately. This is a part number DT40124. Basically youll have your hole right there.

If you just insert it through there that will be locked on. Then that way even with a release theres no way of the coupler being removed. Now if you noticed there are three pin hole positions. Let me get this off and Ill be able to show you better. If you look on the side here there are three pinhole positions.

Basically what that does is it allows you to slide this pin through depending on the style of coupler youll be locking. The three pinhole positions will allow a fit on a trigger style which is like this one here, I just showed you. It will fit on also the latch style which is this design right here or the hand wheel style couplers that have the hand wheel on top of the coupler. This part is made of an aircraft grade lightweight aluminum which is strong and will resist wear and corrosion. This part is made in the USA.

Now, this lock will fit most trailers that use a 1-7/8-inch, 2-inch or a 2-5/16 trigger style, latch style or hand wheel coupler. It will fit all the trigger styles like the Fulton, the Shelby, inaudible 0:02:17 and Atwood and similar and the latch styles like the Atwood, the Fulton and similar. The diameter on this locking pin is 3/4-inch. Ill give you a few diameters on the bracket itself. The width is 6-1/4 inches, the length is 4-3/4 inches, and the overall height on the whole bracket is 5-1/4 inches. This part is made in the USA. Basically it is designed to work with the many style couplers. After its been secured, this Blaylock EZ Lock will render your trailer coupler inoperable which will give you peace of mind. Briefly again, I just want to show you a demonstration on this trigger style. If you open it up, attach it, close it, and it will be hooked to it. Then the best hole is going to be this one right here. Then slide the pin over. Take your padlock and it will lock into place. Even with the latch released, the coupler cannot be removed. Then I also want to show you on this latch style, just a little bit different and it will use a different pinhole. This latch style will basically open up and slide back, install it on there. That way its attached too there. Now because this one is taller this hole we used before will not work so well go to the higher hole which is basically that one. See it lock that way Now with that over there, this way this latch wont even open so this would totally lock it into place, keep anybody from stealing it.
