All right, today on this 1998 Ford Mustang we're going to install part number P239007SW from Putco. This is a pure high performance halogen bulbs. The ion spark white version. First of all, we're going to go ahead and shave our original factory bulbs on this car since '98. They were replaced these with Putco bulbs and see what difference we have. So, let's go ahead and open up the hood and we'll go ahead and remove the factory bulbs.
So our light bulbs in this housing right here there's a latch that we have to lift up and to coil it with a wire harness. Let's pull up here and it comes apart. Gets inside and now we remove the retaining ring just spin to one side. Slide it out of the way and pull the bulb out. That way in installing a new bulb we're going to take care not to touch the actual bulb itself.
Once you have align up, just push it in and reinstall the ring and then the electrical plug. All right, we're all set. Now, we're going on the driver's side, let's go to the passenger's side and repeat the same process. A bulb is installed, let's go ahead and try it. You can also see we change the color of a light from a regular halogen light to the ion spark white color has shown here.
