Today we'll be taking a look at the Putco Plasma 7443 LED light. It comes in a 2 pack, part number P247443W-360. This is for the white color. It's also available in red, part number P247443R-360 and amber, part number P247443A-360. On our passenger side, you can see our old incandecent bulb. On our driver's side, you can see our Putco LED light. This high intensity LED offers more light than an incandescent factory bulb.
It emits 360 degrees of light and boosts visibility. Because it's LED, it's going to be more efficient, last a lot longer, and there are no bulbs to replace. This replacement light can fit tail lights, brake lights, turn signals, and reverse lights and offers a limited lifetime warranty. Now that we know all the features, I'll go ahead and show you how to get it installed. First thing you do, let's go ahead and pop our rear hatch and locate how our tail light is mounted. We can see we've got these two tabs here. We'll just grab a flat head screwdriver and easily pop them out of place.
That's going to reveal our hardware. You're tail light may be mounted differently, you'll want to check your owner's manual on how to remove it. We're just going to take a phillips screwdriver and remove our hardware. You want to be sure to hold onto your hardware, as we'll be replacing it once we get our new Putco LED light installed. The light we're going to be replacing is going to be our top tail light. This one right here. We'll come in, turn it counter clockwise to unlock it and pull it out.
Getting the bulb out is very easy. You just want to grab it and work it from side to side and pull it out, just like that. Then, we can grab our new Putco LED light and it doesn't rightly matter which way you put it in. Just line up the two sides and put it into place, just like that. Then, for putting it back in our housing, we'll just line up the sides and then twist it clockwise.
We'll want to make sure it's nice and locked in. Now let's test it out. It looks great. Now that we know it's working properly, we can go ahead and replace our tail light. You want to go ahead and make sure that the pegs go into the holes there. We'll push it in place, just like that. Now all that's left to do is to run our hardware back in. Now we can just close up our tabs and then we've got it. That's going to complete our look at the Putco Plasma 7443 LED light in white. Part number P247443W-360.

The only gripe I have is etrailer's website said they were in stock, but after ordering found out otherwise. But the result was well worth the wait.

I installed the LED bulbs as my back-up light of my Toyota Tundra to improve the visibility. The output performance of the LED tail light is good, better than the OEM bulb, but not what I expected. They should increase the output wattage and lumens. Thanks
