Video Transcript for Putco Stick T-Type LED Bulb Review

Today were going to review the Putco Stick type LED bulb, part number P28003W-P. These LED lights are designed to fit in your 194 wedge style light bulb socket. These lights have an estimated life of 50,000 hours and are made here in the U.S.A. They produce a white light at a color temperature of about 6,000 kelvin, and put off about 100 lumens of light. On the top of the stick is where well find our single diode that produced our light. The lights are built on printed circuit boards that have the same contacts back here as your 194 glass wedge style bulbs would have.

Now well head inside our car and well show you how to replace the light. Well be using these Putco LEDs in our map lights up at the front seat. Well use a small standard screw driver to help pry the cover off of the light fixture. With the cover out of the way well reach in, grab a hold of the glass 194 bulb and pull it out. Then well take our new Putco stick LED light and fit it into the slot.

Once youve inserted the light, if it doesnt come on at first, simply pull it back out, turn it 180 degrees and reinsert it into the socket. LEDs are polarity sensitive, so you might just have to flip it around. With the light in place well go ahead and reinstall our lens cover. Now well give you a side by side comparison with the original incandescent bulb and our new LED.
