The pop-up camper roof rack by SportRack is easy to install and lets you bring additional cargo with you when going on your camping trips. The rack fits most campers with a maximum width of 85-1/2 inches.

Each crossbar has three different notches that allow you to adjust the length to 80 inches, 83 inches or 86 inches, depending on the width of your trailer. Simply slide the supplied bolts into the pre-cut holes on the bars and tighten the bolts down with the included Allen wrench to fix the bars at the desired length.

Move the roof-rack feet along the length of the crossbars so they are aligned with the edges of your camper's roof. Then securely tighten the feet to the crossbars with the Allen wrench. Place the bars on your camper's roof in the location you want. The provided padding fits beneath the roof-rack feet to help prevent scratches and abrasions on the roof of your trailer. With a 1/8-inch drill bit, drill holes into the roof, and then bolt the crossbars onto your roof to secure the roof rack in place.

Do you have a question about this Ladder Rack?

  • Roof Rack Options for a Pop Up Tent Trailer
  • You are correct, the Sportrack Tent Trailer Roof Rack, # SR1020, will not work if the trailer roof has rounded edges. What you need is a system that comes with tracks that mount to the top, flat part of the roof. Take a look at the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System, # Y01-120. The tracks with this system are 63 inches long. You also get 4 feet and 2 load bars. Make sure to check the trailer owners manual or with the trailer manufacturer to make sure that the trailer can be fitted with a roof...

This features telescoping crossbars that can be adjusted to lengths of 80, 83, or 86 inches. This rack has a weight capacity of 200 lbs. This will not fit trailer roofs with rounded or curved edges. • Roof Rack Options for a Pop Up Camper Trailer
  • There is a special roof rack from SportRack designed to fit pop-up campers. You would use # SR1020. Drilling is required for installation. The only issue is that it will not fits pups with roofs with rounded or curved edges. We also have Swagman rack # S80510. It is also considered a universal fit except it will not fit pups with plastic 1-piece trailer tops.

  • Availability of Roof Rack Crossbars for Use on 2015 Jayco Pop-Up Camper With Factory Side Rails
  • To date Thule has not developed any custom-fit roof rack crossbars for use on specific campers. Even if this were the case, given the recent production year of your Jayco pop-up, such items would not yet be market-ready. My contact at Thule did confirm that he knows of no plans to develop a custom-fit rack system to fit your Jayco's roof rails. It is likely that at least for the short-term only Jayco will offer crossbars intended for the side rails installed on their campers. We do,...

  • How Does SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack Attach to Camper
  • To install the SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack # SR1020 you need to take a 1/8-inch drill bit and drill 1/8 inch holes into the roof of your camper for the 4 roof rack feet. Then install the rack feet padding to prevent scratches to your roof. Finally bolt the rack securely into place on your roof using the self tapping screws. Please note that this SportRack system requires the roof of the motor home not exceed 85-1/2-inches in width. This rack will not fit trailer roofs with rounded...

  • Roof Rack for a Palomino Pop-Up Truck Camper to Carry a Canoe
  • I think I have a great solution for you. You can use the Thule artificial rain gutters, # TH542, a set of Raingutter towers, # TH387, and 2 of bar # THLB96, which is 96 inches wide. And you will probably want some end caps, # THEC1, to keep water out of the bars. The bars can be trimmed down for the appropriate length. For a canoe carrier that fits the bars you can use # TH819.

  • We offer several types of water-sport carriers for kayaks and surfboards including both rack-mount types and foam block designs that require no roof rack at all. These are quite lightweight and cost-effective; this type can be seen on the link provided. Of course we also offer a range of rack-mount water-sport carriers as well. These rack-mount carriers are generally chosen based on the shape of the roof rack crossbars employed. I have linked two pages on our site, one for kayak carriers...

  • Will the SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack, # SR1020, Fit a 2001 Starcraft Pop-up Camper Trailer
  • At the edges of trailers and campers there is some framing that you can drill into. To be sure though you will want to inspect it inside and out before drilling. The SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack, # SR1020, is a universal fit item that you can attach to basically any camper that has a rigid frame that you can drill into. Check the owners manual for the camper to make sure it can have weight loaded on its roof.

  • Yakima RocketBox Pro 12 Cargo Box Will Not Fit a Crossbar Spread Over 32 Inches
  • As you already know the compatible crossbar spread for the Yakima RocketBox Pro 12, # Y07191, is 24 to 32 inches. There is no other mounting feet or hardware that will fit the box without making major modifications to the box, mounting hardware, or both. This is not recommended because it can compromise the structural integrity of the box and will void the warranty. The easiest solution is going to be to either move the crossbars closer together on the camper or add a third bar in between...

  • The SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack # SR1020 that you referenced is designed to fit most pop-up campers that don't have round or curved edges with a maximum width of 85-1/2 inches.
