The pop-up camper roof rack by SportRack is easy to install and lets you bring additional cargo with you when going on your camping trips. The rack fits most campers with a maximum width of 85-1/2 inches.

Each crossbar has three different notches that allow you to adjust the length to 80 inches, 83 inches or 86 inches, depending on the width of your trailer. Simply slide the supplied bolts into the pre-cut holes on the bars and tighten the bolts down with the included Allen wrench to fix the bars at the desired length.

Move the roof-rack feet along the length of the crossbars so they are aligned with the edges of your camper's roof. Then securely tighten the feet to the crossbars with the Allen wrench. Place the bars on your camper's roof in the location you want. The provided padding fits beneath the roof-rack feet to help prevent scratches and abrasions on the roof of your trailer. With a 1/8-inch drill bit, drill holes into the roof, and then bolt the crossbars onto your roof to secure the roof rack in place.

  • Roof Rack Recommendation For Jayco Popup Camper
  • We have a couple of racks that may work for the top of your Jayco popup camper. I recommend the SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack, part # SR1020. This features telescoping crossbars that can be adjusted to lengths of 80, 83, or 86 inches. This rack has a weight capacity of 200 lbs. This will not fit trailer roofs with rounded or curved edges. Another roof rack you may want to check out is the Swagman Roamer LT Roof Rack, part # S80510. This system is not designed to be used with plastic...

  • Availability of Roof Rack Crossbars for Use on 2015 Jayco Pop-Up Camper With Factory Side Rails
  • To date Thule has not developed any custom-fit roof rack crossbars for use on specific campers. Even if this were the case, given the recent production year of your Jayco pop-up, such items would not yet be market-ready. My contact at Thule did confirm that he knows of no plans to develop a custom-fit rack system to fit your Jayco's roof rails. It is likely that at least for the short-term only Jayco will offer crossbars intended for the side rails installed on their campers. We do,...

  • Attaching Yakima Roof Bike Racks to the SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack # SR1020
  • Depending on which Yakima Bike Racks you currently own, the Universal Mighty Mounts for Yakima Roof Mounted Accessories, # Y03590, might work for you. These universal mounts adapt most Yakima carriers to round, square or factory roof racks and would replace your current bar grips. I pulled the Universal Mighty Mounts and the SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack, # SR1020, from our warehouse to perform a test fit. A picture has been included which will give you a better look at the product...

  • Roof Rack for a Palomino Pop-Up Truck Camper to Carry a Canoe
  • I think I have a great solution for you. You can use the Thule artificial rain gutters, # TH542, a set of Raingutter towers, # TH387, and 2 of bar # THLB96, which is 96 inches wide. And you will probably want some end caps, # THEC1, to keep water out of the bars. The bars can be trimmed down for the appropriate length. For a canoe carrier that fits the bars you can use # TH819.

  • Roof Rack Options for a Pop Up Camper Trailer
  • There is a special roof rack from SportRack designed to fit pop-up campers. You would use # SR1020. Drilling is required for installation. The only issue is that it will not fits pups with roofs with rounded or curved edges. We also have Swagman rack # S80510. It is also considered a universal fit except it will not fit pups with plastic 1-piece trailer tops.

  • Would the Sport Rack Camper Roof Rack part # SR1020 fit a 2008 Fleetwood Sun Valley Pop Up
  • The SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack # SR1020 that you referenced is designed to fit most pop-up campers that don't have round or curved edges with a maximum width of 85-1/2 inches. Your 2008 Sun Valley doesn't have round edges so as long as its not wider than 85-1/2 inches it should work well for you.

  • Yakima RocketBox Pro 12 Cargo Box Will Not Fit a Crossbar Spread Over 32 Inches
  • As you already know the compatible crossbar spread for the Yakima RocketBox Pro 12, # Y07191, is 24 to 32 inches. There is no other mounting feet or hardware that will fit the box without making major modifications to the box, mounting hardware, or both. This is not recommended because it can compromise the structural integrity of the box and will void the warranty. The easiest solution is going to be to either move the crossbars closer together on the camper or add a third bar in between...

  • Roof Racks for Use on Motor Home Roof to Hold Kayaks and Surfboards
  • We offer several types of water-sport carriers for kayaks and surfboards including both rack-mount types and foam block designs that require no roof rack at all. These are quite lightweight and cost-effective; this type can be seen on the link provided. Of course we also offer a range of rack-mount water-sport carriers as well. These rack-mount carriers are generally chosen based on the shape of the roof rack crossbars employed. I have linked two pages on our site, one for kayak carriers...

  • How to Determine if the SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack Will Fit a 2004 Coleman Utah Pop Up
  • The SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack # SR1020 is a universal-type item and does not have a specific trailer fit list. To determine if it will fit your 2004 Coleman Utah pup you will need to check a few things on the trailer. The maximum width the rack will fit is 85-1/2 inches. The roof and sides will need to be straight, not curved, in order for the mounts to fit flush. If your camper fits those requirements then the rack will fit.
